Oscar-winning star Mark Rylance and his wife Claire van Kampen, a playwright, composer and director, have teamed with Steven Spielberg and his Amblin Entertainment on a TV project

"it will, in part, explore the Battle of Homestead, the tragic 1892 labor dispute at the Carnegie Steel Co. in Pennsylvania that led to bloody clashes between members of the Amalgamated Association of Iron and Steel Workers, locked out of the steel mill during an industrial dispute, and security officers working for the Pinkerton Detective Agency, hired by Andrew Carnegie and Andrew Clay Frick."

It still seems very promising.

Those seductive vampires taking advantage of all the excesses of the times in which they lived.... it almost makes you want to join them...

But I remember after reading all The Vampire Chronicles, I didn’t want to be a vampire at all! NEVER!

Branagh as Boris

Wow… he *sounds* like Branagh playing Johnson, but if he isn't quite exactly the spitting image of Johnson, he looks 95% like him and nothing like Branagh at all.

Yeaaah! Exciting. And indeed the week after House Of The Dragon is done.

And I definitely feel The White Lotus is the perfect show to follow that. It's very different but has a broad appeal and really blew up with it's first season. I think the numbers for the premiere will be quite high

Season 48 (yea... 48!) of Saturday Night Live will be without a whopping 8 cast members who were in Season 47

Aidy Bryant (2012)

Kyle Mooney (2013)

Pete Davidson (2014)

Alex Moffat (2016)

Melissa Villaseñor (2016)

Chris Redd (2017)

This culling still leaves them with 13 returning cast members

Kenan Thompson (2003)

Cecily Strong (2012)

Colin Jost (2014)

Michael Che (2014)
Mikey Day (2016)
Heidi Gardner (2017)

Bowen Yang (2019)

Andrew Dismukes (2020)
Punkie Johnson (2020)

James Austin Johnson (2021)
Sarah Sherman (2021)

And they also added 4 new ones....

Oh great. Given the VFX people getting overworked by Marvel and WB Discovery severely cutting down on the animation department, I don't think I can take Sony treating their animators like crap again.

I saw the first episode and really liked it but I haven’t gotten around to seeing more yet. I did however catch the first two episodes of The Peripheral (based on a book by William Gibson) on Amazon Prime. Really good stuff so far, if you like hard sci-fi!

The trailers don’t especially capture its quality but here they are anyway:
