Anyone else ever seen a UFO?

It gets frustrating when people forget what the "UFO" acronym actually stands for and they automatically think it means "advanced extraterrestrial spacecraft". This goes for both skeptics and believers who persist in misusing the phrase.

Sometimes there's a peak of people filming UFOs. The questionable thing about the footage is that each UFO seems to be very different. Either the alien race that is observing us happens to like 'craft diversity' or we are being watched by hundreds of different aliens. Both feel unlikely to me.

I suggest you start reading something else than the papers.

The Mahabharata and its plentiful descriptions of vimanas would be a start.

We have passenger airplanes, military carrier planes, drones, helicopters, fighter jets, satellites, space stations... By that definition, the human race is unlikely to exist.

99% of people are too fucking lazy to investigate anything beyond what stares them in the face during the daily routine.

So, uuuh, this craft is round, and that craft is triangular, so, uuuh, that's impossible.

Sorry, but I've read von Däniken too.

And it would not surprise me that another technological advanced race has all kinds of vehicles too but I find it odd that they would send them all to Earth, let alone that they are all made for interstellar space travel. If we are being monitored by another race, travelling from a planet that's 200 or 500 light years away, I expect that they would do so with a particular craft, not thousands of different ones.

Unlike you, I don't take that as gospel.

PS: I also don't believe that the Pyramids of Giza were made by aliens.

We're just looking for answers. In ancient times, when we couldn't explain something, it was always the work of the gods. Today the gods have merely been exchanged for aliens.

What is the most persuasive evidence, for the existence of U.F.O.s?

There's plenty of documented instances of unexplained phenomena that cannot be attributed to anything we can neatly catalog scientifically. Hence the term "unidentified flying object", it's an object that's in the sky, but no astronomer, meteorologist or aviation expert can identify it.
