This year's results as per Classic FM's website:

280: Close Encounters Of The Third Kind
265: War Horse
217: Superman
208: Jaws
174: War of the Worlds
118: Raiders of the Lost Ark (includes Raiders March, Indiana Jones)
90: E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial
54: Saving Private Ryan (includes Hymn to the Fallen)
46: Jurassic Park
45: Star Wars (includes The Force Awakens, Empire Strikes Back, Phantom Menace, Return of the Jedi, Imperial March)
32: Harry Potter (Philosopher's Stone, Hedwig's Theme, Chamber of Secrets, Prisoner of Azkaban)
28: Schindler's List

Schindler List is the highest film score in the chart. Rejoice, lament, discuss (includes ignore this thread, question the wording and what happened to Star Wars 2-3-4-8?)

Close Encounters that low? While SPR that high?

It's all about the Hymn To The Fallen.

War of the Worlds above CE3K, Jaws and Superman?

It's all about Tom Cruise?

Keep in mind, this is a list open to all classical pieces, if I understand right.  In that context, Williams's showing is quite impressive, and SL is not all that surprising.  Just the kind of stuff Classic FM listeners dig.

What brain-damaged fool came up with this list?
