Now where did I put my betting slip?  I saw Carl Davis conduct the main theme for Champions in a concert with the Philharmonia three or four years back and it was ace!  They also played the Grand National cue from the same score.

Burly Cocks!

Nice thread.  I cannot find the Reivers Suite on youtube, but the horse race section from that.

Another personal favorite:

Not sure if it really counts, but this is a horse and stage coach chase from For A Few Dollars More.

Il Vizio Di Ucidere

Also a fun little Carter Burwell cue from Hail, Caesar!.

When Hobie rides Whitey, a white horse.

In this movie, a white man teaches a bunch of arabs how to ride their horses.  Everyone says he's a fool to even try to ride against them.  He says "You're on...but whoever wins the race, also wins the princess as his bride" and the race begins.  Ok, I never saw the film, but great music!

There's a plethora of The Lord of the Rings cues that meet the requirements.

See Forth Eorlingas, The Riders of Rohan, Hope and Memory, Flight to the Ford and many more.
