Jurassic Shark 12,051
Wow, this is a bad take.
filmmusic 1,825
I'm not very much into Williams Olympic triumphant mode so I chose the devastating Remembering Munich. (which I don't think should be in this poll at all, but anyway) Joni Wiljami
Popular Post artguy360 1,843
I love Summon the Heroes. It's an all-time, JW favorite of mine. Marian Schedenig, GerateWohl and Jurassic Shark

pete 907
I've got a soft spot for The Olympic Spirit. It was used on Australian TV rugby league coverage, and I only realized it was Williams with the 1996 release of the Summon The Heroes CD. I remember noticing the piece on TV well before I knew it was by Williams, and that first listen of the CD blew my mind. And I've heard Olympic Fanfare and Theme twice performed live, once conducted by Williams and once by Gustavo Dudamel. That will always be my favorite. And that's not to say I don't love Summon the Heroes. I'd love an official release of the variations - especially the longer ones. Call of the Champion is my least favorite of the three, but I do enjoy it every now and then, and I particularly like the video from the opening ceremony with all those Mormons. I much prefer Mormons when they're singing as opposed to walking around in pairs in suits.
Naïve Old Fart 9,511
The one that appears on the Olympic Games record that came out in 1984. The original, and the best.
BB-8 3,465
I was somehow imprinted on "Call of the Champions" because of the HP (chorus) vibes. Garrett
Schilkeman 961
As a trumpet player, it can only be Summon the Heroes. So much fun. I learned how to double tongue playing along to this cd. Tim Morrison is on my trumpet Mt. Rushmore.

Summon is good, particularly the final two minutes, but I was thinking about Fanfare & Theme when I wrote my post.
