Not heard of The Goldfinch before but I'm definitely looking forward to the new Sam Mendes movie 1917. When Deakins was asked if it was all one shot, he said he wasn't allowed to comment on that. Check your lightings and angle, experiment with different shots in your spare time, give the film a flowing theme. Tie it up and do your job proper! I would pay this guy with popsicle sticks.
