Oomoog the Ecstatic 314
My favorite Christmas Carol actually isn't We Three Kings, it's the one at 1:06 here. Williams is a genius.

JoeinAR 1,949
After 25+ years Somewhere in my Memory is a Christmas traditional. My other 4 are Sleigh Ride by the Boston Pops Jingle Bell Rock, Rockin Ariund the Christmas Tree. Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas. (Judy Garland or Mel Torme). I'd interpret that as meaning hymns, but your list includes "The Christmas Song." Here's my list of my five favorite Christmas hymns in alpha order that I thought about for all of 30 seconds. The First Noel Hark! The Herald Angels Sing O Come All Ye Faithful (Adeste Fideles) O Holy Night Sussex Carol (On Christmas Night) Two years later and this list of my favorite traditional Christmas hymns holds up for me. The Philip Ledger arrangement of Sussex Carol is THE essential arrangement IMO (never cared for the Vaughan Williams arrangement I'm sorry to say). Although I have to admit a lot of my affection for this carol stems from its use at the very beginning of the George C. Scott Christmas Carol, 2nd only to It's a Wonderful Life for my favorite Christmas movies.
Naïve Old Fart 9,515
The Scott A CHRISTMAS CAROL is very good. Second only the the Sim. For the longest time Silent Night made me weep like a baby. I still tear up a little, but I can cope with hearing it. It's a beautiful hymn. HANDEL'S MESSIAH should be at the top of everybody's Yuletide playlist. I'll be having HOME ALONE and NOW THAT'S WHAT I CALL CHRISTMAS, on rotation, in my car, very soon.
