Started working with Goldsmith on 'Seven Days in May' and 'Rio Conchos' (1964) and with Williams on 'Not with my Wife you don't' (1966), right through 'Nemesis' and 'Jurassic Park' (his last Williams).

He lived a full, full life... and yet this is terrible news.  Worse than you know.

 

 

I would have really loved to have interviewed him about his many decades of work with Jerry. And he was interested to do so. I regretted not speaking with Nick Redman before he passed away last year, but I regret this conversation that will never happen even more. RIP Emil.

Yes, and a very impressive one too. If memory serves, he shows off some of it in the FILM MUSIC MASTERS: JERRY GOLDSMITH documentary from the 90s. Or perhaps they just talk about it, I can't remember exactly.

Actually the documentary was released in 2005, though a lot of the scoring session footage is from the 90's. (The River Wild)
