Unrecorded concert work : Highwood’s Ghost

Since this appears on the blu-ray/DVD release of the "Bernstein at 100" concert, isn't it "recorded?" (Although a nice Symphony Hall recording would really be great with Yo-Yo Ma and Jessica Zhou, Williams conduction and the BSO performing - just as it was performed at Tanglewood.)

Expansion / C&C:

I'm not sure exactly what's missing from the OST, but I'm currently reading War of the Worlds, so I'll go with that.

Premiere:

Any premier would be appreciated.

Unrecorded concert arrangement of a film / television theme:

I've always wanted a recording of Williams conducting The Flag Parade concert version. Although recordings exist, there's just something special about Williams conducting Williams, or maybe I'm just a Williams snob.

Unrecorded concert work:

Why do we keep calling it Symphony No. 1? There was never a second one. We don’t call it JW’s Violin Concerto No. 1, or Oboe Concerto No. 1, for instance.

C&C:

Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (M. Matessino edition: complete with the film takes, inserts/overlays, corrected speed/pitch, and alternate versions as a bonus)

Premiere:

The Sugarland Express

Unrecorded concert arrangement of a film / television theme:

Willie’s Theme (ToD), I’d love to see this short love theme more developed.

Unrecorded concert work:

1st Symphony (never heard it, but in general I prefer symphonies to violin concertos)

Isn't that the official title?

IDK.

Almost picked TPM for the first, but we have a (flawed) expansion already so there's less to discover for me.

This was my original choice in my post, but I edited it to Cloud City/Lando's Theme, but yesssss, a concert version of Willie's Theme, all lush and beautiful would be amazing to have.

So many voting for SUGARLAND EXPRESS among the 'premieres'. I mean, it's an historically important score and everything, and I'd support a release in a heartbeat, but outside the main theme, it's not a terribly good one. From a musical standpoint, it pales to something like STORY OF A WOMAN, for example.

In an ideal world, we'd have 'em all!  Of the entirely unreleased scores, I haven't seen any of the movies or heard any of the scores beyond re-recordings, but of the tastes I've had, Sugarland is the one I liked the best.

I remember humming my personal concert version of Willie's Theme back in the 80s :)

Hasn't he done this already?

As far as I know, there’s never been a recording of the published Hal Leonard suite, by JW or anyone else.
