BLUMENKOHL 1,068
Even if you’re not synesthetic, this might be fun to try for you. What textures/feelings/colors/sensations does each score, in its totality, evoke in you? Here’s the sensation each album in its totality evokes in me: 1. Star Wars (1977) - A grey dilapidated, rusty, dirty and old, very old world. 2. Star Wars The Empire Strikes Back (1980) - A wet...grimy brown and rusty disgusting sewer...the kind you walk through with puddles and condensation on the walls. 3. Star Wars Return of the Jedi (1981) - A dense northern forest 4. Star Wars The Phantom Menace (1999) - Marble halls, huge columns, the Roman Empire and its bureacracy 5. Star Wars Attack of the Clones (2002) - A summer’s eve, just after a storm, and just before sunset when the sky is big...filled with puffy clouds turning more orange. 6. Star Wars Revenge of the Sith (2005) - World War I trenches and battles in the old fancy marble buildings and cities. 7. Star Wars The Force Awakens (2015) - The Old American West, Railroad tracks and old trains, The Grand Canyon 8. Star Wars The Last Jedi (2017) - Kids playing war in the backyard on the first nice day of summer. 9. Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker (2019) - A North African desert at noon, the inside of an Egyptian pyramid. Nick Parker

Bayesian 1,363
I can't envision specific settings like you can, but in terms of moods/themes... 1. Star Wars (1977) - Adventure-seeking, old fashioned fun, rough-and-tumble 2. Star Wars The Empire Strikes Back (1980) - Dangerous, ominous, larger scale than the adventure in '77 3. Star Wars Return of the Jedi (1981) - [Not sure] 4. Star Wars The Phantom Menace (1999) - Polished, sleek, burnished 5. Star Wars Attack of the Clones (2002) - Same as TPM 6. Star Wars Revenge of the Sith (2005) - Same as TPM but with lots of tragic hero overtones 7. Star Wars The Force Awakens (2015) - [Not sure] 8. Star Wars The Last Jedi (2017) - [Not sure] 9. Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker (2019) - The epitome of human creation, come to life in musical form, never to be surpassed Ok, that last one's obviously facetious. But I can't actually decide how to express the ST scores as a mood or theme, other than to say they are of a kind as different from the PT as the PT was from the OT. Nick Parker 3,040
Star Wars - Brittle, russet metal that flakes off like powder when you wipe it with a (gloved) hand Empire Strikes Back - Peppermint flavor, and the colors of the Earth's atmospheric layers Return of the Jedi - A summer afternoon's progression to sunset, with plenty of sun-dappled leaf spots in the woods The Phantom Menace - Fresh summer grass Attack of the Clones - The piercing bright gleam of reflected light that you would get from say a car window being hit by the rays of the Sun in the afternoon, especially after a warm summer rain. Revenge of the Sith - A dark, muted green, with the slightest hint of purple mixed in. Like a windy November day (in the Northern Hemisphere), offset by the surprisingly warm heat of the Sun. The Force Awakens - Coral algae, somewhat rugged to the touch and tastes a little bitter and plain The Last Jedi - Lukewarm Sphagettios The Rise of Skywalker - A vast coastal desert through a whole 24 hour cycle, starting at night with nothing but sand dunes in sight, then ending at the sunset by the glittering ocean Thanks, @Blumenkohl, this was fun!
