Anyone know how to get their hands on a copy of STORIA DI UNA DONNA / STORY OF A WOMAN?

Looking for the movie scored by John Williams in 1970.

DVD, digital file, stream, whatever.

I saw someone on a forum mention they got a copy once on ioffer dot com, but that's not an option anymore, obviously.

Well, it's tricky. I searched for it for YEARS, making contact with anyone and anything associated with the film -- without success. Then, some 5-6 years ago, it suddenly appeared on Youtube -- a poor-quality copy that omitted the prologue, but complete otherwise. I quickly downloaded it from there, and just a few days later it was gone. That's the first and only time I've seen the film available anywhere.

Thank you Yavar!

I've send a message to the store for more shipping informations.

Does someone already bought it?

And in this case, knows the quality of the video/audio source?

Ordered,

I am just hoping for a better quality than the Youtube version

I think you should have asked them first.

Chances are that it is the youtube version.

In any way, let us know here when you receive it how is the quality.

I will wait and see so... :P

Update:

Message from the store:

"It is uncut, the film here is in the public domain and I paid a fortune to find a copy. It is from a tv showing from 30 years ago I believe and is uncut, or a directors cut as it is longer than the running time on imdb."

Well, that's promising, as the Youtube version didn't have the prologue. This appears to have it. It's probably the version that was shown on NBC in the 90s (I contacted NBC about this ages ago, actually, but received no useful response).

Do you have the capability to take screenshots?

I would be interested to see the quality when you get it.

Please do! I knew about that sales link from before, but at the time, I thought it was too expensive to get, especially when it was presumably just the Youtube version. Curious about its quality!

It was 24 Euros (Plus 4 Euros for shipping to France). We'll see the quality.
