Has to be film music but it can be a track from any soundtrack release in 2019 (expansions are fine but only if it's a track of music that wasn't previously available). As much as I like Williams' work on TROS, I think this track is my favourite piece of film music last year. John Powell consistently delivered on the Dragon films and saved some of his finest work for last. This gorgeous cue underscores the courtship of two nightfuries (well, one trying to impress the other) and features superb flute and harp work you rarely hear in film scores these days (two criminally underused instruments, save for Williams and a handful of others). The music tenderly dances around the orchestra from curious intrigue to confidence, all built around a suite of gorgeous melodic ideas. Marvellous! I highly recommend the complete score for anyone who hasn't checked it out. Not a wasted track in the bunch! As Long as He's Safe, from Dragon 2. Once There Were Dragons, from the same 3. The Rise of Skywalker, from Star Wars Nothing from Marvel movies (Far From Home was pretty good though).
