I don't think it's the latter, but it could be the former. I've never listened to it, and that fragment isn't familiar to me at all. Plus, I don't think the latter has synths or electric piano. Maybe

Spoiler

pastoral music from Attack of the Clones or something?

@BrotherSound, you have a great eye for this kind of thing. Any insight into #3 or #7?

Haha, looking at your list, I realized I'm familiar with only three of the scores you've mentioned! The first is easy, as was 4 since that melody in the posted fragment is my favorite from that score. 6 is a classic Williams moment, but the others?

Hey, thanks!

I’m 95% sure #3 is from The BFG. #7 has me stumped, but it’s definitely a John Neufield orchestration, so it must be something between 1988 and 2004 (from The Accidental Tourist to The Terminal).

No original handwritten scores for

Spoiler

Angela’s Ashes have leaked so far (to my knowledge). And The Book Thief scores have leaked, but are 100% typeset, so it couldn’t be that.

#3 is indeed from the BFG

Ahah! Then it must be:

Spoiler

The final few measures of Sophie & the BFG (and A Child's Tale concert arrangement)

Still racking my brain over #7...

Nope, it's another cue ^^

As for 7, it is definitely not Stepmom nor The Lost World :P

Horn counter melody from end of Home Alone:

Wow that was surprisingly hard!! I kept trying to interpret it in E-lydian rather than B-major.

Yesss !

I think the fact that it's a counter melody kind of threw you guys off a bit ^^

I'm thinking WOTW. It reminded me of 'Rolling with Grievous' at first because that piece also alternates between 3/4, 6/8, 5/8 and 7/8 (and 2/4 if I'm not mistaken), but it's definitely not that. 'The Ferry Scene'?

Well done once again

Sure is! The question is, where? It's incredibly hidden. Another hint -- the melodic line is on the harp.

Spoiler

The scene in Padme's Apartment. Palpatine's Plotting? With wind chords underneath?
