Williams = Obi-Wan

Steiner = Yoda

Goldsmith = Qui-Gonn

Zimmer = Palpatine

Gia = Vader

Powell = Rey

Desplat = Finn

Balfe = Kylo

That metaphor is hilarious - and potentially rage-inducing to Gia-haters, since Vader is the Chosen One who redeems himself in the end.

Even more so to the Zimmer-haters though, given Palpatine dies yet comes back to life in a subpar body.

While I agree with others that Powell would be a great choice, I'd also like to see it go to someone who has shown potential but has yet to be given the chance on a movie like this. Someone like Fernando Velazquez or Christopher Lennertz. Maybe even Andrew Lockington.

I assume they're waiting until the major cast and crew are all locked in before announcing Spielberg's departure, if this is still filming in May (they might have postponed that Pinewood booking though).

Gia's pastiche would be excruciating. But it's totally gonna happen. In which case I'll absolutely avoid this movie. Shame though, as Marigold is a good director who could do a lot better than Gia (and Indy 5).

Thank you for summarising my thoughts so I don’t have to.
