There's a metascore feeling to it, with echoes of existing repertoire and hints of things to come. I listened to the intense early act of the score before referring to the notes or revisiting any material on the film, it works without getting specific on subject as Jerry's style works its own narrative magic. Somewhat reductive from what I might've expected in this period though brilliantly so and also among his most dynamic including Alien. While you can rip the music from these discs into a file format that supports 16/44.1, the music itself will not have a 16-bit depth.
