The Last Crusade remains one of my most listened to scores, it's truly a globe-trotting adventure from start to finish.  Every cue has such a defining sound that immediately puts you into the scene/location with barely any underscore.

I used official cues that have been released from the Concord set + bonus cd disc.

If you have an unreleased as a favorite, thats cool too!

I think mine is "The Blimp Turns Around"

I wouldn't say that it's the best piece on the soundtrack, but ever since the expanded soundtracks have come out "On The Tank" has been my favorite most listened-to track.

Both film and score are personal favorites of mine and it's very hard for me to pick a favorite cue.

Seriously, about the best I can do is narrow it down to these tracks:

  • Indy's Very First Adventure (voted for this)
  • The Boat Scene
  • Escape from Venice
  • Scherzo for Motorcycle and Orchestra
  • No Ticket (not listed in your poll)
  • Belly of the Steel Beast
  • The Canyon of the Crescent Moon
  • Wrong Choice, Right Choice

I totally forgot No Ticket!  😕

Going to edit it now.

Edit to my would be edit:  Apparently I can't add a choice.  Apologies to all my 'No Ticket' fans.

My favourite is the short cue that is the first to feature the Holy Grail theme, starting with tubular bells.

This one right?  I can't wait to have MM work on this!!

I'll go for "The Boat Scene"; just because it has a boat in it and it IS really good.

But honestly, this is quite the impossible choice.

SO many great ones to choose from.

Both Austrian tracks are really stylish too.

And "Alarm!" reminds me of the film so much that it instantly makes me laugh.

Really, REALLY good score all around!

Williams was clearly inspired.

That's a really tough choice! TLC is a brilliant score, up there with Williams' all time best. Probably my favorite from him from his post-ROTJ and pre-Jurassic Park era.

I love the music for the tank battle, it's an excellent combination of Spielberg's direction, action and fight choreography, excellent stunt work and score. But I chose The Keeper of the Grail because the Grail theme is pretty amazing, noble and medieval in a adequate way.

Tough choices - it was a mix-up between Indy's First Adventure and Finale and End Credits - I chose the credits suite because it encapsulated the major highlights of the score.

I love X Marks the Spot, and the opening of Journey to Austria.

Every single cue is so good, it's hard to choose one. However, if I had to, it's probably gonna be "Indy's Very First Adventure."

This track is a perfect little mini score unto itself.

You know I thought about that, but I felt like a lot of those cues would not have been chosen.  Like all of the inserts, alternates, ect ect.  Seemed a bit over the top for a poll.

Good that you ruled those out, since there's some people here who's always going to vote for the most obscure and insignificant insert.

I'll make a poll of the favorite Prisoner of Azkaban cue one day and it'll include the entire cue list, including every single tiny, insignificant insert, just to watch how many people would've vote for them

You can replace one of the options no one's voted for yet, and probably never will, with No Ticket

I voted "Marcus is Captured/ To Berlin" simply because I love the nazi fanfare and the instalment of the grail and other themes there. Probably my second choice is Indy's very first adventure and, next, the boat chase.

really? And did it have it? Every unreleased track that I got from this score had very crapy sound quality.

Not really, the unreleased material had SFX from the movie. During the tank fight scene, you can hear the sound of bullets being fired.

So they got it from the sessions... After they where used in the DVD xD Do we know why the Concorde collection wasn't more complete?

How is No Ticket still not a poll option? WTF?

Because you might as well vote for Gilderoy Lockhart? :P

It's a track that works well in the film.

But on album? Not really one of my favourites.

There's something a bit annoying about it...

Any of the 8 options no ones voted for yet. Probably Death of Kazim is the least likely anyone would vote for

I would have figured 'No Ticket' would have been the least voted cue, maybe it was my subconscious that didn't include it.

But those 8 options that have no votes are way better than 'No Ticket'. Although, it's a perfectly scored scene.

Doesn't make sense to me to factor in your personal preferences when posting a list of options for people to vote on

Dude did you not read my post earlier in this thread?  I forgot to add it and this forum couldn't have me add it without replacing an option.

Of course I did, and as I already said, all you have to do is edit the text of one of the ones no one has voted for and type in No Ticket instead.
