Dole 11
I just thought that I'd mention that actor Gregory Peck died today at 87. He was one of my favorite actors who starred in many notable films including To Kill a Mockingbird, How the West Was Won, Roman Holiday, The Omen, and Moby Dick. It's sad to see Hollywood lose yet another of its few remaining stars from its Golden Age. Mr. Peck will be missed.Dole
tpigeon 3
Sad news indeed. He was also one of my favorite actors. I especially loved him in To Kill a Mockingbird and The Guns of Navarone. As you said, Dole, he will be missed.Ted

Many 0
I've always enjoyed and admired Mr. Peck's work and was very sad when I heard the news this afternoon. Also, if any of you hadn't heard, news anchor David Brinkley also passed away today. He was 82.Anthony

Hector J. Guzman 1
Wow! Cool!!!I haven't seen a movie star the way you have. I think if I saw Sean Connery or Morgan Freeman... there's no more Anthony Quinns or Jack Lemmons. Only one I saw was that loon Martin Sheen. The guy's short. JoeinAR 1,759
I haven't met any real stars but him.Ran into Molly Ringwald at the Cheesecake Factory in Beverly Hills.Ran into Tim Daly(star of Wings) on same said streets.Met Charlie Sheen when he was filming a movie in LR behind K-Mart, and the cute girl from the Goonies too. Can't think of any others. My friend rode up an elevator in downtown LR with Barbra Streisand(I know hardly anyone here likes her, but she is a STAR), when Gov. Clinton was elected President.
