Skull better than Temple? Wtf, man? One of the most violent Spielberg movies and lazy piece of shit with PG-13

And Raiders March sounding like SW is bullshit too...

That's what I love about this board.

People are so tolerant of differing opinions.😗

Can you pls stop shitposting? It's pretty simple, you know

When you stop attacking people PERSONALLY just because you disagree with an opinion.

Respect your betters.

I find your ranking abhorrent. You have unusual taste levels.

That is the greatness of this score. JOHN captures a universal human truth  The bond between parents and children. The music, the visuals, and the reactions are real. Only the cold hearted and the dead are not moved.

I love the opening song and the fight on the dance floor.

Next the End title

The "Anything Goes" insert in the dance fight is a Temple of Doom grail for me.

Won't get much of an argument from me on that!

I love the contrast of the clean shaven, tuxedo Indy to the beaten down version we get at the end.

...anything goes.

one thing that really pissed me off about critics of SKULL..the ' outrage' over Indy surviving a nuclear blast by hiding in A LEAD lined fridge.

Forgetting for a moment that all the films have FANTASY elements; I would always point to TOD where Indy;

1. Jumps out a window and survives a.ten story drop- merely because awnings ' broke his fall.

2. Survives a jump from an airplane using an inflatable raft to break his fall!

In ' reality' the nuke survival is more plausible!

The hypocrisy of some fans blows my.mind sometimes?😁

Absolutely agreed.

Also, the doom town sequence you speak of, I believe was one of the most courageous moments of KOTCS.

You truly had no idea how he was going to get out of that situation.  I thought it was rather brilliant in it's own over the top way.  Probably the only moment of the movie that had me on the edge of my seat, that and how they ended it. (Indy grabbing the hat from Mutt -- which was FANTASTIC.)

You are absolutely correct about the similarity. Where we differ is that I count that against TOD.

Score's still fantastic, though!

I thought it was a fantastic also.

One reason: I realized it was a test site before Indy did!

Incredibly suspenseful and clever how he escapes.

You are a true INDY fan😍

I do too! A bit too comic bookish.

I just use it to puncture the idiot critics of

SKULL

It's in the movie, so it's not some fan edit or alternate.  1:42

I mean the music only source.

Watching that clip reminded me how annoying the Kate Capshas character was!

I enjoy this score ( and TLC) much more than RAIDERS - which has never been a favorite.

@crumbs

:o

That is clean!  Is that the original, I assume?

To be clear, I do have this cue as 'Dance Orchestra' and the separate cue 'Once in a Vial'.  I'm talking expanded and actually on an album grail.  But this sounds amazing.

Yes, this is the film recording. I can't guarantee it's the exact same take but it sounds right to me.

For maybe like a second I thought it was a fan recreation, but it sounds way too similar.

Why can't I get a straight answer?

Shall I just assume this is a "promo" never officially released on CD?

The YT description claims its from the " EXPANDED" ost.

Obviously untrue
