6 titles, fantastic!

They've only done 4 or 5 titles as long as I can recall.

Looks like Tomorrow Never Dies is definitely not a surprise release, as that would be 2CD and $30 like TWINE and DAD

Seems like 2015 is when the BF slate started having really high profile releases.

2015 had Braveheart, which was the first 'big' title that came as a proper surprise to me, then (IMO) 2016 started the current phase of at least one 'Oh. My. God.' release in each batch. Just my assessment of the shift we've seen in how 'big' the 'big' releases have become.

I think your logic's being a bit strict there. Just because the other two were $30 doesn't mean TND has to be as well.

The only one I'd guess the nature of is the 1 CD 1000 unit one. Possibly an archival score for which they don't anticipate much demand?

And two other 1 CD releases - there aren't a massive number of scores that you can expand while keeping within one CD.

The 4CD set is probably THE X-FILES: VOLUME 4.  They were originally planning on releasing it in 2018 and then in May of this year they said it was in the final stages

I have no clue what any of the other titles could be.

2017 is the only year I bought anything - 2cds- within a year of release!

Their ' off-season' releases rend to be superior.

If it's X- FILES I will maybe/definitely f2f at that. It all depends on the cues they choose to include.

Can't wait !😁

Bruce you are highly outnumbered here in believing the concord set (Temple of Doom specifically) is fine as is.

it could also be the last Batman Animated Series release, which was close enough at one point to include it on one of their flyers.

MV already told us no WB scores were coming this year.

And wow, it's been a while. That was revealed on the 500 Releases banner from July 2019

I wish there were a few Williams title in this batch but I believe those will be relegated to quarter 1 of next year.

MV has hinted earlier that nothing jaw dropping in this batch (according to him)  but unless he is just playing with us.. :P

But 6 releases definitely mean that there will be something exciting for someone !

Doubt that would be four discs considering how much is already released.

Might there be a UNIVESRSAL ARCHIVE title?😁😗

Not sure if I'll be buying any of these. I have some scores that I'd love it to be (only because they're personal Grails), but I don't imagine it would be any of them. Guess we'll just have to wait and see!

I'm pretty curious about the first one. Only 1,000 units? I can't recall any releases that pressed less than 1,500. It must be super niche if they think they'll only be able to move that few units.

There are plenty of releases at 1,000 copies or fewer.

Isn't that score short enough even expanding it to complete form would only need 1 disc?  If true, then it can't be one of the titles, as that would surely be limited to 3,000 copies or more.

MV has already posted that they finished their Top Gun album but can't release it until after the sequel comes out

Tried to find a link to the post but can't find it

Has LLL ever stated such or is this just an assumption on your part?  Link?

What do you mean?

Oh, the quantity thing?

TV scores are the only John Williams they've ever done less than 3,000 copies for

John Williams sells.  They could easily move 3,000 copies of BO4J or Always or whatever

OK, I get it, but that does in no way mean that they will never have a movie release with fewer than 3,000 copies.  Yes, the chances are pretty good that 3,000 is the minimum but let's be honest, BOTFOF is not exactly an in-demand expanded score.

Usually if two CDs are "filled out", its a $30 title.  If its longer than 1 CD but doesn't come close to filling up 2 discs, its a $25.  This is by no means concrete and definitive, but its a trend I've noticed
