I'd honestly love the chance to expand the third disc with more odds and ends but a straight reissue with no changes is likely easier. The 2018 box had tons of approvals to go through because on top of Warner Music approvals and Warner Pictures approvals, Rowling's camp has to approve every Potter product too. Probably one of Always/Amistad/CMIYC/The Terminal if there's no Indy box, because of the good relationships with the relevant studios (and Spielberg's team). Maybe a Williams at Universal type release to bundle together his more obscure, unreleased scores from that era (Story of a Woman, Sugarland Express, Rare Breed), like LLL's Goldsmith at 20th set. Still curious about Mike's idea re: JW and Sugarland... I don't think we'll see Star Wars this year. In the Superman podcast Mike mentioned the Blue Box was roughly a 2 year project, and that was only 4 scores + the booklet. Just imagine how much work 9 scores would be, especially considering the elements are/were partially lost and SW/ESB probably warrant total remixes from the multitracks (not to mention the final score was finished barely 13 months ago). Just things like Diagon Alley without the insert? I absolutely adore that 3-disc set for HP1. There's really not a single note left wanting, once you finish the third disc. I know. But that's how it is. Actually, I'd be surprised if CMIYC isn't out in the next year or two! I can't see any reason JW wouldn't endorse an expansion, he clearly enjoyed writing that score. I'm also not going to hold my breath for a SW box set release, can't imagine how long it would take to work on a proper release for all nine scores!
