Popular Post crocodile 8,793
I'm beginning to think Main Titles, Multiverse of Madness and Stranger Things Will Happen are just three versions of main on end? Maybe, maybe not not. I can't decide whether it's best to open my playlist with Stranger Things or Multiverse. They both work well but I sort of like how the former serves as a more subtle and quiet overture before the chaos of the opening action sequence. But it works both ways really. The more I listen to this (and I do listen to it a lot!) the more detail and thematic subtleties become apparent. I love how the material for Wanda and Strange constantly shifts between light and dark. Brilliant dramatic work by Elfman. And while the presentation is by no means complete, it is mostly satisfying. But I also get why it doesn't appeal to so many people. It's more focused on story at hand rather than the franchise building. But I like it. crocodile 8,793
I hear another ominous motif in the score. It appears in at least three tracks - The Apple Orchard, Journey with Wong and Getting Through. Is it for Darkhold? Seems that way. Speaking of themes, what's up with the one appearing in both Tribunal and Illuminati vs Wanda? It starts off with the same phrase as Wanda's theme but then it goes in another direction. Karol That's an Illuminati theme. Could you pinpoint the Darkhold motif? I haven't recognised it yet.
DangerMotif 1,175
now that the score has been out for a month, it really is alot of fun. The new Wanda theme has really grown on me and the use of it in "They'll Be Loved" with the Celeste? is beautiful

Alex 2,890
Just read Clemmensen´s review. I find the criticism of Elfman abandoning the ethnic instrumention and sound a bit weird. I always associated it with Kamar-Taj, which does not feature that much in MoM. I usually like his reviews but this one is as bizarre as him pretending PoA isn´t good. https://www.filmtracks.com/titles/doctor_strange_madness.html ddddeeee and artus_grayboot 1

I always enjoy reading his reviews because, even if I disagree with him, his analysis is usually thorough. He is factually wrong several times in this review. I think he was so bothered by Elfman writing 'new' themes that he wasn't as keen to dig deep. It's a shame because there's a lot going on here.
