Couldn't find a thread on this (maybe I didn't look hard enough?). This project sounds ideal for a great Williams score...   Source!

Wow, never saw a project like that coming   The score potential by Williams is off the charts

A 90 year old JW stepping up to the podium to score a film in a post-COVID world is really what I need right now.

Right? I'm feeling really excited already. :woop:

It's hard not to imagine how a deeply personal film for Spielberg will translate to JW caring very, very much about crafting the right score for it

Yeah, an autobiographical-ish film?  He wouldn't want anyone other than Williams to do it.  And with it being small-scale, wouldn't require huge amounts of music like an action film.  Sounds perfect!

Sounds like an interesting project with great potential for the score. The two finest films is Spielberg's career, IMHO (E.T. and Empire of the Sun) both tackled childhood, so the prospects are good

Really? I'm not being glib, but in what way?

At this stage of JW's career I imagine a mix between Warhorse and BFG, without the horse and the giant.
