I've never even heard of this "Music" thing that's mentioned a lot on here

Out of all the nominated movies on this list, I've only seen 4

Hubie Halloween - we laughed a lot

The Wrong Missy - we laughed a lot

Wonder Woman 1984 - dumb movie

The Witches - very meh

None of those are the types of the films I think of as being Razzie-worthy.  I guess they've changed over the years too

Really? It had quite the controversy actually over it's...inaccurate and misguided (at best) depiction of people with autism. Well-deserved Razzie nom as far as I've heard, but I admittedly have not seen the film myself.

Hubie Halloween was really stupid but it was entertaining and enjoyable enough.

Yup!

It was basically Billy Madison / Happy Gilmore 3

I'd actually like to see that CROCODILE DUNDEE film (I had no idea they had made a sequel), due to the talent involved. John Cleese and Chevy Chase? Fuck, yeah!

As for the other titles mentioned in the Razzies list, I saw BREACH just a couple of days ago. Terrible, despite a cool premise. FANTASY ISLAND was kinda amusing (I have a nostalgic connection to the 80s show), but it completely faltered in the last half. Haven't seen WONDER WOMAN 1984 yet, because I have no interest in superhero stuff. The BORAT sequel was fun, but a far cry from the edgy first film. I should probably see DOLITTLE at some point, due to the Elfman connection (I have the underwhelming score, of course -- only available digitally), but it's not on the top of my to-see list.

That's it, I think.

It's just a little joke thing. Most people who read this every year don't know about film music

Why isn’t there a score category or is there any point giving it to Lorne Balfe every year?

will the Snyder Cut be eligible for these next year?

Considering how things are going in Hollywood these days, it's more likely they'd give the award to John Williams due to his music being "too intrusive and melodramatic".

There's not enough WW84 here, to me it's the dumbest picture of the year and I've seen Dolittle too...

Call of the Wild has a fair nominations, damn that quadruped thing was hideous.

Haven't seen the other though

The Worst Musical Score category existed between 1981 and 1985 (and JW was nominated)

Wow. Some great scores on those lists. Glad they discontinued it after a couple of years.

THIEF, BUTTERFLY, MONSIGNOR, METROPOLIS (Moroder version), THIEF OF HEARTRS (which is Faltermeyer, not Moroder as the list suggests), ROCKY IV, REVOLUTION, KING SOLOMON'S MINES -- great scores, all of them. Some even bonafide classics. Silly 80s people not recognizing greatness when it stared them in the face! ;)

They're good. Guilty pleasures sure. Dunno about "great".

Thor is a little.....shall we say hyperbolic?😝

Let's face it- they're really reviewing the films they were in more than the scores.

Some of those films are pretty bad

Eh it's nice perving on Sharon Stone in skimpy outfits, snickering at Richard Chamberlain's corny deliveries, and revelling in the whole shitty production value, while having Goldsmith's catchy theme blaring out.

You do realize it's a blatant ripoff of RAIDERS- right down to the SCORE?

Today's quiz:

How many other super hero movies did WW borrow from in order to create its ' script'?

1. CA: THE FIRST AVENGER- the two lovers who are separated by decades.

2. SUPERMAN II; SPIDERMAN TWO - hero loses her super powers.

3. ASM II et. al.- Nerdy, socially awkward character becomes super- villain-

Talk amongst yourselves

Supplementary question - Wonder Woman 1984 or that excruciating 'Imagine' clip ... which was the worst thing Gal Gadot was in last year?

WW84 just because it's longer

Link please.

TBH Icould watch a two hour movie that just featured closeups of her beautiful face!

What a timeless beauty.

She ain't no actress, though.

It appeared not long into the first lockdown last year and was clearly meant to be a sorta 'we're all in this together' positivity thing but people seemingly felt mostly patronised ... very wealthy types singing a song that includes the line 'Imagine no possessions' pissed people off, whoda thunk it?
