A massive shout out to Edyta of Awesome Distro (Varese's international handler), who wasn't only very quick and friendly with her replies, but also read & understood my customs troubles and quickly offered to refund the additional fees I had to pay. I would be very surprised if it was. I think Varese was happy to sell out the full run within just a few months...but it still took several months! I think that told them that they gauged the demand for it almost perfectly. (Though I'd have been very happy for them to go 500 copies higher, so another 500 people could have this great release...then it probably would have taken another couple years to sell out.) It must be the performance and the instrumentation - the score itself as on paper is great, but I cannot really enjoy it. This score is in dire need of a re-recording à la Conan The Barbarian.
