So Jurassic Park is a "kids" movie?

Definitely not a kids movie, but similar to Raiders or Star Wars, or even the original Ghostbusters, it's really for both adults and kids, but defined as a kids movie in the sense that it really opens up your imagination and can inspire kids at an impressionable age that typical kids movies don't do.

Then when you watch them as an adult, you notice what made it enjoyable for adults.

The book however is definitely not made for kids.

Alex you seem more passionate about his SL  score, how often  do you listen?

Just a guestimate but I voted a couple times a year. It’s beautiful music, and always a moving experience.

... at the right age.

Just like all those that were at the right age when they went to see Potter.

Hook was akin to a piece by Handel. Big and all over the place, lacking real substance.

The Harry Potters were like Tchaikovsky works. More simplified, but simply perfected.

I listen to this soundtrack multiple times a year, quite often in fact. The music is just so damn good. I sometimes skip the non-JW track(s?) but otherwise let the soundtrack play from beginning to end. The whole thing is masterful.
