But I see no change.

I'm so sorry for my complete ignorance on this subject, but do you have to buy tickets for the live stream? Or is that a free event?

It's not free obviously.

My gut feeling tells me that the Adventures of Han will be replaced as it is rhythmically too difficult for a German orchestra.

So how do I pay for it?

https://www.digitalconcerthall.com/en/concert/53783

Need to register an account and buy at least the 7-day access ticket for 9,90 EUR, I presume.

Payments should usually be possible via credit card, PayPal etc.

I assume you will be able to watch the live stream if you have a valid time stamp on your digital ticket.

Thanks, I'm going to pass in that case since I'll probably be buying the commercial release.

I'm bad at reading German... is this something you have to get a ticket to, or is there any more information on how this is going to work? Thank you for pointing it out in the first place.

Yes, you have to get a free ticket and can select a seat (yellow button at the bottom of the site "Kostenlose Tickets buchen").

You are also asked to comply with the current admission rules:

Yes, thank you. I presumed the admission rules would be the same as the actual concert, but it’s nice to know for sure. :)

I'm pretty happy with the setlist, I think a big point of putting this one together was to make it complementary with the Vienna one. I'm excited to hear the fanfare and the Throne Room. I could do without a few pieces such as Marion's Theme etc., but we must not be picky :) Saturday, see you in first row!

If the encores look like this, I'll definitely be more than happy:

Overture to the Oscars
Theme from Schindler's List
A new violin arrangement from the upcoming album
Flying
The Imperial March

God hears you!

I would switch the new violin arrangement with an arrangement of Seven Years in Tibet (after all there's cellist Bruno Delepelaire) and replace Theme from Schindler's List by Rey's Theme.

So:

Overture to the Oscars

Rey's Theme

Seven Years in Tibet

Flying

The Imperial March (it would be so surprising if this one isn't played)

Right, I completely forgot about Rey's Theme! So my updated version of the encores I'd love to hear at this concert (mixed with what needs to be played for obvious reasons) looks like this:

Overture to the Oscars

Rey's Theme
Theme from Schindler's List
Flying
The Imperial March

The Imperial March for encore or my life is incomplete.

I'd be very surprised if they play Schindler's List.

It's likley Flying Theme and The Imperial March.

Maybe there is an unofficial way of returning the tickets or something. It is strange for sure.

i cant complain really because i got mine late in the game and today my cousin secured one so i wont go alone there hehe

Wasn't there some kind of waiting list for the Vienna concerts? So that if tickets were returned, they wouldn't show up on their website again because they were directly forwarded to people on the list?

I always wondered, how are these setlists put together? Does John put them together himself first, and then consult with the orchestra's management or however? And why and how do the setlist changes occur? I'm really curious.

Yeah John would select the pieces. Don't see why anyone else would be involved.

He would curate the order according to whatever he thinks is the best listening experience. I guess changes just happen depending on his mood or what pieces would be best suited to the orchestra's strengths.
