Powell's (and Williams') Solo is easily the best score, but I also liked:

• Ant-Man and the Wasp (Beck)
• Avengers: Infinity War (Silvestri)
• Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (JNH)
• Ready Player One (Silvestri)

Alan Silvestri is, for some reason I ignore, as much shunned by the Academy as by the three Critics Guilds mentioned above.

M: I - Fallout is a masterpiece of a score when compared with The Tomorrow War or even Black Widow.

I picked with Shaiman. Such beautiful themes that they were confident enough to use them in the very first teaser for the film.

I picked Solo (as it's become one of my favourite scores) but in any other year I'd most likely have gone for Mary Poppins Returns which I absolutely love. Great songs, great score, charming movie.

BEALE STREET is a masterpiece imo. Perfectly complements that film. SOLO, ITSV and BLACK PANTHER are amazing blockbuster scores, we were spoilt.

PANTHER is obviously the best.

Incredibly, the Academy stumbled into selecting the BEST score several times the past ten years.
