This one usually gets split between Glory and LotF.

Imma say Glory. I have vivid memories of being moved to tears watching that film in my 7th grade history class. And I knew it was all James Horner’s fault;) But Legends is a terrific melodrama with a equally great score.

I do really enjoy Zimmer’s Last Samurai though. Waiting for an expansion of that one.

This guy may not be your favorite director, but he inspired Horner, Zimmer and JNH to write some of the best scores of their respective careers. Which one is your favorite?

Hey, Zwick is great.

It's a difficult choice, but LEGENDS wins. Top 5:

1. LEGENDS OF THE FALL

2. The Last Samurai

3. Blood Diamond

4. Glory

5. Defiance

I chose Legends of the Fall, altough "GLORY (Horner, 1989)" is perhaps the most "recognized" score on the list, as it also appear in the AFI List of their 250 best scores.

If I could chose 2 more, it would have been "Diamond Blood" and "Defiance" by JNH.
