I've contacted Filarmonica's Box Office last week and they assured me both in written and on the phone that they will not check any names or IDs, just the QR codes on your tickets. So you can take someone else without a problem.

It's not much of a suggestion and I guess it's a pretty obvious one, but I had a great afternoon before my first Williams concert just walking around a park - Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens in London just listening to Williams and not really believing I'd soon be in the same room - and sitting not to far away from the man/alien who had created music that had given me so much joy. It's like I was high on cocaine - not that I know what that's like, but gosh I was on a high!

 

I am a bit of a loner and most of my hobbies I enjoy alone. Hang out with other Williams fans? Soundtrack fans are weirdos!

I'm afraid if there really isn't anything planned to film the concert, it's too late. Such a recording is a big logistical challenge, it requires people, equipment and time. Someone has to pay for it. The only hope is that the source mentioned here a few days ago is wrong, even if it's someone from Filarmonica della Scala.

I’ve just been to the orchestra box office on piazza 6. They seem a little overwhelmed and annoyed by people looking for tickets. 
 

They say contacting viva ticket for tickets is the only way, but contacting viva ticket they say it’s just sold out and they don’t have any information on reselling or returning tickets. Very bizarre organisation. At Vienna there was a simple box office you could speak to and buy tickets immediately.
