AlphaSigOU 0
1. Gunbarrel [MP3] 2. Stalking [FRWL] 3. Main Titles: James Bond Is Back / From Russia With Love / James Bond Theme [FRWL] 4. SPECTRE Island [FRWL] 5. Tania Meets Klebb [FRWL] 6. From Russia With Love (Matt Monro) [FRWL] 7. James Bond With Bongos [FRWL] 8. Searching For Bugs (James Bond Theme) [DN - track 1] 9. Meeting In St. Sophia [FRWL] 10. Gypsy Camp [FRWL] 11. Girl Trouble [FRWL] 12. 007 [FRWL] 13. Guitar Lament [FRWL] 14. Bond Meets Tania [FRWL] 15. 007 Takes The Lektor [FRWL] 16. Death of SPECTRE Agents [bBIA - Track 2. Use third cue, 'Death of Dr. No'.) 22. End Titles: From Russia With Love (Matt Monro) [JBT] UNUSED TRACKS 23. The Golden Horn [FRWL] 24. Leila Dances [FRWL] I assume this list is correct? I'll leave the Dr No cues out though myself.Concering those two last cues (unused), where would they fit in in the list itself? Thanks!Edit: 22. End Titles: From Russia With Love (Matt Monro) [JBT] What's the difference between this version on the John Barry Themeology and the soundtrack? The list is pretty much correct; not exactly sure where "The Golden Horn" fits in. "Leila Dances" appears to have been a cue for the gypsy camp dance before the girl fight. The John Barry Themeology track of the Matt Monro FRWL theme is apparently the same one as used in the film (at least to my ears). The one on the soundtrack is a different take.Hope this helps.

robthehand 3
People always seem to imply that You Only Live Twice is complete. I may just be being stupid, but in this case, where is the music from when Blofeld blows up the volcano near the end?By the way the FRWL gunbarrel isn't from a master, it's just re-edited - the first 8 notes of the guitar bit is from the SECOND occurence of this tune, just slotted in over the part with the gun shot. #SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 10,265
People always seem to imply that You Only Live Twice is complete. I may just be being stupid, but in this case, where is the music from when Blofeld blows up the volcano near the end?The music for that scene was actually composed for a scene much earlier in the film, were Bond overcomes a guard as Osato's office building, and can be heard on the expanded CD. (either in track 13 or 14)Barry's original cue for the scene were Blofeld blows up the volcano can be heard in track 18 (i think, I mostly listen to my own cronological edit)This is a rather odd cue, and does not fit the scene at all, so the more dramatic cue from we all know and love was used twice.By the way the FRWL gunbarrel isn't from a master, it's just re-edited - the first 8 notes of the guitar bit is from the SECOND occurence of this tune, just slotted in over the part with the gun shot. robthehand 3
Just in case anyone cares, this is a fairly good assembly for the DAD complete score (the way I first saw it advertisted in eBay)CD 11. Gunbarrel / North Korean HQ You may want to do a bit of cross-fading etc. here, but it is basically just the first six cues (Gunbarrel, Surf's Up, On The Beach, Bond Meets Moon, Hovercrafts and How Do You Intend To Kill Me Now, Mr Bond?).2. Hovercraft Chase 3. Bond to Jail / Die Another Day The song Die Another Day in this version was mixed into the end of Bond to Jail, rather than the fade-out used in the film. It works pretty well.4. Prisoner Exchange Known as "Some Kind Of Hero" on the soundtrack5. Kiss of Life / Hong Kong Hotel The cues "Kiss of Life" (available on the David Arnold website) and "Peaceful Fountains of Desire".6. Hotel to CubaThe cue "Hotel" (a.k.a. Hotel to Cuba) combined with either "Cuba" on the promo score or "Welcome to Cuba" on the soundtrack. I chose the latter for my album.7. Cuban Car 8. Jinx and James The cues "Jinx Jordan" combined with "Bond and Jinx (a.k.a. Jinx and James, Bond Bonks Jinx, Jinx Bonx Bond Back)".9. Wheelchair Access 10. Wheelchair Access (Alternate/Original)11. Jinx, James and Genes 12. London CallingThe Clash song. You may want this or you may not - if you do you might need to up the volume a bit for this track.13. Gustav Graves' Grand EntranceMost of this is unused in the film, and the end is a totally different mix, but nevertheless its still a damn good cue! Known as "Gustav Graves Grand Gravitational Entrance" on the promo.14. Crossing SwordsCombining "Fencing Teacher" or "That Looks Like Madonna" with "Sword Fight". No fading necessary.15. Cutting EdgeSimply combine the cues "Bond Gets The Key", "Virtual Reality" and "The Vanish". This time you may want to get rid of some of the silence between tracks.16. Bond Goes To Iceland17. Zao's ArrivalKnown as "The Explanation" on the promo.18. Icarus DemonstrationYou can either just have the "Icarus" track here, or you may want to put the "Party" source music on the front. It's up to you, but I've chosen to include the party track.19. Ice Spy20. A Touch of FrostThe CD should run about 1 hour ten minutes.CD 21. Laser Fighta.k.a. "Laser"2. It Belong To His Boss3. Double Agent4. Whiteout5. Skidoos6. Iced, Inc.7. Ice Palace Car Chase8. Switchblades9. Death of Moon10. Gustav Graves' Grand Exita.k.a. "Gustav Graves Grand Gravitational Exit" or "Graves Gets It".11. Going Down Together (Film Version)a.k.a. "Antonov Gets It". NB: THIS IS NOT THE TRACK OF THE SAME NAME FROM THE SOUNDTRACK.12. Moneypennya.k.a. "Moneypenny Gets It"13. A Fitting Enda.k.a. "Diamonds", "Jinx Gets It" or, on the soundtrack, "Going Down Together".---You can put any combination of these tracks on as you like. This is the way I've assembled the "end".14. Die Another Day (Dirty Vegas Main Mix)15. Alternate End Credits (David's End Credits)16. The James Bond Theme (Bond vs. Oakenfold)Hope this helps someone... somewhere... AlphaSigOU 0
Well... after carefully watching the film on DVD, I think I've pieced together what could be the definitive soundtrack for FRWL, at least until the film music masters are found! Here goes:1. Gun Barrel? Available at frwlmusic.tripod.com. Extracted from the DVD audio track. Gunshot removed from track.2. Stalking - Track 15 on the FRWL soundtrack. 3. Opening Titles: James Bond Is Back/From Russia With Love/James Bond Theme ? Available at frwlmusic.tripod.com. Extracted from the DVD audio track. (NOTE: This version includes the [in]famous ?ballpark organ? heard over the film?s opening titles; the version on Track 1 on the soundtrack is another take, which does not include it.)4. Chess Match In Venice ? Brief incidental music, not in soundtrack album.5. SPECTRE Island ? Track 11 on the FRWL soundtrack album.6. Tania Meets Klebb ? Track 2 on the FRWL soundtrack album.7. From Russia With Love (sung by Matt Monro) ? Brief incidental music heard over Bond?s car radio, fades after about 15-20 seconds. Track 10 on the FRWL soundtrack.8. James Bond With Bongos ? Track 14 on the FRWL soundtrack.9. James Bond Theme Sting ? Brief incidental music, not on soundtrack album. Possibly extracted from ?James Bond With Bongos?. Liberally sprinkled throughout the film.10. James Bond Theme ? Track 1 on the Dr. No soundtrack album.11. The Cold War In Istanbul Is Getting Hotter ? First 15 seconds of ?Death of Grant? (track 9 on the FRWL soundtrack album).12. Gypsy Camp Belly Dance ? Incidental music, not on soundtrack album. The track ?Leila Dances? (track 16 on the FRWL soundtrack) is a studio track and not used in the film.13. Girl Trouble ? Track 5 on the FRWL soundtrack album.14. 007 ? Track 7 on the FRWL soundtrack album.15. Gypsy Camp ? Track 8 on the FRWL soundtrack album.16. Assassination of Krilencu (?The Mouth of Anita Ekberg?) ? Incidental music, not in soundtrack album.17. Bond Meets Tania ? Track 6 on the FRWL soundtrack album.18. Meeting In St. Sophia ? Track 3 on the FRWL soundtrack album.19. 007 Takes The Lektor ? Track 18 on the FRWL soundtrack album. Reprise of the 007 theme.20. Death of Kerim ? Track 17 on the FRWL soundtrack album.a. Orient Express Out of Turkeyb. Tania?s Fashion Show (a slightly different take of this cue is used in the film)c. The Death of Kerim/Missed Rendezvous21. The Zagreb Express ? Incidental music not in soundtrack album. A nearly identical rendition is available on ?Bond Back In Action?.22. Death of Grant ? The remainder of Track 9 on the FRWL soundtrack. Much of this track is not used in the film (the fight scene in the sleeper compartment between Bond and Grant is unscored). Hmmm... wonder what the fight scene would sound like scored? 23. Death of Dr. No ? Incidental music from the Dr. No soundtrack (not included in the official Dr. No soundtrack album). A nearly identical rendition is available in ?Bond Back In Action? by Nic Raine and the City of Prague Philharmonic. This also repeats at the end of ?Man Overboard?.24. Man Overboard/SMERSH In Action ? Track 13 on the FRWL soundtrack.a. Man Overboardb. The Price of Failure (Death of Kronsteen). Actually it?s SPECTRE and not SMERSH who?s really behind the plot.25. Death of Rosa Klebb (?She?s Had Her Kicks?) ? Incidental music, not in soundtrack.26. From Russia With Love (sung by Matt Monro) ? Track 10 on the FRWL soundtrack. A closer rendition (at least to my ears) to the version heard over the film?s end titles is available on ?John Barry: Themeology?.UNUSED FILM MUSICLeila Dances ? Belly dance routine studio track. (Track 16 on the FRWL soundtrack.)The Golden Horn ? Apparently not used in the film; the scene that it probably best fits in is where Bond meets Tania on the Bosporous ferry. (Track 4 on the FRWL soundtrack.)Guitar Lament ? Not used in the film. Could it be a mourning tribute to the late Pedro Armendariz, Sr.? (Track 12 on the FRWL soundtrack.) For example, most of the Dr. No soundtrack contains various renditions of "Jamaica Jump Up" and "Underneath The Mango Tree" that were never used in the film."Guitar Lament", though not used in the film, is a perfect fit for the music in the scenes reminescing about Pedro Armendariz Sr.'s final days in the DVD featurette "Inside From Russia With Love". fommes 153
From the FSM Board:RobotSam says:I'm pretty certain this is the correct sequence for The Man With The Golden Gun:2, 1, 5, 8, 3, 9, 6, 7, 10, 11, 124 isn't in the film per se. It's a full length jazz instrumental version of the title tune. Part of it plays in the Scaramanga fun house cues.An underappreciated score IMO. My favorite cues: In Search Of Scaramanga's Island and Return To Scaramanga's Funhouse (particularly the latter half of this cue--very menacing).lars b says:Since almost all of 'The Spy Who Loved Me' tracks on the CD are re-recorded versions for the cd, it's almost impossible to make a good chronological order, but i used to program it like this :1 - Bond 772 - Nobody Does It Better (vocal : Carly Simon)3 - The Pyramids4 - Conclusion5 - Eastern Lights6 - Mojave Club7 - Nobody Does It Better (Instrumental)8 - Ride To Atlantis9 - Anya10 - The Tanker11 - End Titles / Nobody Does It BetterThere are some differences here with your list; I haven't seen the film recently so I can't help you on that. The Octopussy album is chronological, apart from the first two tracks of course.Lotman

robthehand 3
If a track on a CD does not appear in the movie, it is placed at a position where it should appear (mostly biased on the name of the track)In that case, "Destroy Silicon Valley" probably goes between "He's Dangerous" and "Airship to Silicon Valley"and "Bond Escapes Roller" might go just before "Wine With Stacey".Please take note of the "might"s and "probably"s. AlphaSigOU 0
Could someone please let me know what has happened to the following master tapes, i.e. whether they are lost? Dr. No From Russia With Love Goldfinger Moonraker Octopussy A View To A Kill Licence to KillAccording to Lukas Kendall at FSM, the master tapes for Dr. No, From Russia With Love and Goldfinger could not immediately be found in the EMI vaults around the time he was producing the expanded and remastered soundtracks; the soundtrack album masters were used. Goldfinger's remastered album combines the tracks from both the U.S. and the U.K releases of the album soundtrack and fixes the "Into Miami" cue into a separate cue (the original CD release combined it with "Alpine Drive/Auric's Factory").Moonraker's soundtrack was produced in France; the location of the film master tapes is unknown.Don't know about A View To A Kill.License to Kill was produced by Warner Brothers Records; all the remastered/expanded Bond soundtracks prior to A View To A Kill are owned by EMI. robthehand 3
Has anyone got any ideas about a sequence for Dr. No?It's difficult because most of the music isn't in the film. I'd like to include the three cues from BBIA.

I'd like to include the three cues from BBIA.I'll hafta give the film a close look-see over the weekend. The main title can easily be ripped from the DVD audio (electronic sounds, re-edited James Bond Theme segue into Kingston Calypso ("Three Blind Mice"). fommes 153
I was listening to From Russia with Love: is the Girl Trouble track a different take on the remastered album in comparison with the previous CD album?EDIT: Never mind, I was confusing with the Raine's Bond Back in Action CD. Sorry.
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 10,265
Doubtfull, since the album master is all that supposedly survived.
