crumbs 14,306
Gosh, that really does look like perfect weather! Hopefully JW gets a chance to sightsee around the city before returning to LA, given the glorious conditions.
Thor 7,490
Vienna is a lovely city, although the prices on everything are almost Oslo level (but only almost). Fond memories of both my Horner and Elfman trips to the city. By the way, is the JW concert at the same venue as the Horner and Elfman concerts, i.e. the Hollywood in Vienna venue? (I'm sorry if this has been discussed earlier, and I keep confusing it with the one where the New Year's concert is held....you have too many concert halls!). I'm obviously envious of those of you able to attend tonight, but I'm surprisingly calm about it. With three Williams concerts under my belt, I have the luxury to. Have a great one, guys! JonathanAsh 80
First half was amazing. No cameras, but – a microphone next to the celeste that’s definitely not permanent. Seems very likely that it is being recorded. BB-8

Popular Post Matthias 267
I could get used to this! What a thrill! 😅 The horn solo for Leia's theme was badly flubbed, otherwise a very enthusiastic Vienna Phil today (sometimes almost too much 😅). JW even heard some of your criticism and played the Imperial March twice as fast this time. 😉 A lavish feast for the ears, I'm very glad it's been recorded.
