Finally! Wallfisch had mentioned on Twitter that it would be out also digitally, but I wasn't really sure if was going to. Let's see how it's gonna be!

Is the suite made up of film cues (if so, does anyone have a breakdown?) or is it a suite of ideas he wrote at the beginning of production (in which case is it samples or a real orchestra?)?

Well the last 40 seconds or so is definitely from the end of the first cue on the OST.

Nice that we now have a clean opening for that. I could never stand that horrible whispering cacophony that leads into it (before the female voices start).

Having listened to the extra cues today, I can say that (grinding electronica noise notwithstanding) the OST is a fine representation of the score and nothing really significant was excluded.

Possible Chronological order (NOT SURE)

The Chrysalis
That's Our Sun
Wake Up
Entering Nostromo
Searching
Lockdown
Awakening
There's Something in the Water
XX121
He's Glitchy
Run!
Romulus Hangar Bay
I Have a New Directive
Body Temperature
Prometheus Fire
The Hive  Part 1
The Hive  part 2
Andy
Guns V Acid Blood
Elevator Shaft Attack
Get Away from Her
Gravity Purge
The Offspring
Collision Warning
Rain
Sleep

End credits

Bonus

Alien Romulus Suite
The Offspring (Album Version)

Maybe the Suite contains unreleased tracks and we can cut them up and distribute them to the right places?

If anyone has any information, it would be greatly appreciated...

Not a fan of Sprechstimme huh?

I don't mind the cases you cited. What bothers me more is the electronic grating and grinding that colours this score in places (I find the whole Offspring cue completely unlistenable).

Wallfisch's orchestral writing is brilliant, I don't understand why he needed to lean into that other sound at all.

note I had placed Awakening after The Hive, but a YouTube page (search for something like  "alien romulus expanded score") places it after Lockdown.

Agreed. He can write incredible orchestral music, and yet, whether it's because of directors' or studios' requests or just a desire to be more "modern", he keeps drowning his orchestra in the most insufferable gritty electronics possible.

I have no interest in his horror stuff.

I'm gonna say it. I really enjoyed Alien: Romulus!

If you mean the film, then yes, it was rather a good entry. I liked that it honoured what had been done before without mimicking it directly (i.e. the Maginot stuff on A:E). I also liked Rook and despite the complaints about it thought it was well executed (better than CG Tarkin and infinitely better that de-aged Henry Jones Jnr).

I could have done without all the dialogue callbacks though (busy little creatures, get away from her etc.) and I'm not a fan of the ("surprise!") 4th act Newborn Redux. I also would have liked Isabella Merced's character to survive, I thought her performance was excellent. They could have easily kept her alive by having Rain or Andy intervene to stop the Offspring from killing her.

I liked much about it, but at the same time it was frustrating, and increasingly so as the overdone callbacks got worse and the overall story and characters made less and less sense as it went on.

E.g., "Get away from her, you bitch!"

OK, I've try to go through the movie and compare both two albums.

And I can't locate all the EP tracks and some OST tracks.

I think the OST album is mostly film order but "Wake Up" goes before "That's Our Sun".

Also, not sure where is "The Hive" used in the film.
