Sony Pictures has apparently removed all of its music files for Where the Crawdads Sing and The Woman King; all of the direct WAV file links are now dead.  As are the links on the newly-posted Devotion FYC soundtrack page above.

Here are the links (all dead) for the Devotion cues...

NEW SCORE AVAILABLE:

Sony Pictures

  • Woman King, The (Terence Blanchard) [38 cues, 1:15:02] [MP3 version (complete); SEE NOTES IN SPOILER]
    • Previously missing cues 1 and 2 are now available but only in MP3 format. Sony replaced all of the WAV file links with MP3s, though the WAV files are still accessible. Cues 30 and 36 have been "upgraded" with the MP3 files; they're now 48 kHz instead of 16 kHz, but are 128kbps MP3s instead of PCM WAV.
  • Additional WAV file added by Sony ("41_TheWomanKing.wav").
  • Notes in spoiler provide details on how to compile the best quality collection from the WAVs and MP3s.  What a mess!!

EDIT:  Also, with the new MP3 files, the the previous cue "14" ("07_OyoWarriorstoVillage_xg7z4Bs.wav"), which is identical to cue 7 ("07_OyoWarriorstoVillage.wav"), has been replaced with a new cue 14 ("14_TheOyoArrive.mp3").

How did they even fuck this up that badly? Since it seems the FYC is identical to the OST shouldn't it have been as simple as just uploading the same album masters given to all the digital retailers?

I'll gladly volunteer to manage those assets for them if they need help. :D

I wonder if the academy changed their rules this year, or if all these score albums coincidentally had no music on them that wasn't in the film?

Prime Video finally uploaded a FYC page for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power: https://www.consideramazon.com/lord_of_the_rings_the_rings_of_power_music

I haven't followed all the music releases but it could be just the first OST consisting of suites.

Thanks!  Also new from Amazon Prime...

  • The Boys (Christopher Lennertz) [8 episodes worth of score and a song]

It is a bit strangely done though. Quite a few tracks have abruptly cut in openings and cut out endings.

Maybe they're like that in the show? Or maybe someone just opened the mixes for the episodes, removed the volume automation, and clipped them out very quickly.

Idk - I haven't seen the show.

Very cool though regardless. Really wish this sort of thing happened more often.

United Artists Releasing  1, 2, & HFPA

I noticed that only 4 of these have slate numbers and are of different lengths from the OST, while the rest just look like OST tracks.

I also noticed that the two types of files come from different folders:

The files that have slate numbers come from
https://d1qf1lxchdoll2.cloudfront.net/2022/uar/audio/baa/

while the files that come from the OST are in
https://d1qf1lxchdoll2.cloudfront.net/2022/uar/audio/baa_guilds/

It seems that if you look for the OST versions of some of the direct cues you linked to, they exist. For example, you linked to the unique version of Vinegar:
https://d1qf1lxchdoll2.cloudfront.net/2022/uar/audio/baa/BAA_2m07_Vinegar_.m3u8

But it seems like the OST version also exists if you go to:

https://d1qf1lxchdoll2.cloudfront.net/2022/uar/audio/baa_guilds/04_Vinegar_.m3u8

I wonder if that means that the same process works in reverse. I doubt they posted just 4 cues in the baa/ folder. The only problem is I don't know any of the slate numbers or original cue titles so guessing filenames might be hard, but if anyone's willing to try I bet more of the score is available

Excellent work, @enderdrag64!! I did notice the 6 dead links in episode 8 of The Boys, and also 2 tracks (10 and 11) in episode 7 point to the same MP3 file.

I’ll dig into the Bones and All issue on Friday. Very interesting!!

Thanks for bringing this up! I was curious when I saw those slates but didn't notice the different folders!

I've been trying with this for a little bit, and it is possible to go back to OST versions starting from the slates (links below), but I got not results for trying the other way around. Even those which should be easier to guess like tracks 01-03, 21-22 and 24 I get no results, as in, I don't even get the usual "offline" results on JDownloader, just nothing at all. I suppose that either the titles are actually different and not identical to the OST, or for some reason they went with full score versions for just those tracks for whatever reason.

Here are the links to the OST variants of those 4 tracks with slates btw:

On Ebay surfaced Best Song & Best Score CDs for Alexandre Desplat's Pinocchio. There is still nothing on the Netflix FYC websites, but I suppose something might arrive soon.

Can you send a screenshot?

For what's worth I'd even link them but idk if it's allowed or not, or what use could a screenshot have. Just look up "for your consideration" set on newly listed on ebay and you should find them rightaway.

My point was more about CDs being around but no uploads (yet) on the respective FYC site.

Does there exist a forum that doesn't allow links to ebay auctions?

Yep. I’ve seen some before. I don’t frequent them, but have come across one or two in the past. Mostly worried about scams or something. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

While there's no rule against it, it's problematic in the fact that us peasants who were watching it when it was $50 can no longer afford it since it's now $180 after it was posted here. So I guess that seller can thank Imp ROTFLMAO

Yikes!

This was the type of consequence I heard about and that initially led me to believe that I shouldn't link the auctions.
