For “Obi-Wan,” he did more than just write a theme, Holt discloses. “He did a suite, including the main theme, which is used in the titles, and different versions of it. So we have this ‘Obi-Wan’ suite that we used within the show as appropriate. For me,” she adds, “it was almost paralyzing, I’m such a big fan of John Williams.”

 

She describes Williams’ theme as “contemplative, soulful, quite lonely and slightly angst-y, but there’s a sort of hope, which is exactly what Deborah had instructed.” Holt wrote her own Obi-Wan theme, before it was clear that Williams would be contributing, “and weirdly, it’s very similar to his,” she says.

I figured it would be an entry into JW's elegiac sound given the nature of the show. 

I wonder if it'll be more of a hopeful minor key theme (Window to the Past, The Garrison Family Theme, Gabriel's Letter, The Days Between from Stepmom) or will go more for an all out elegy (The Immolation Theme, Anakin's Betrayal, The Starkiller)

Will this new theme be released as a single like the Galaxy's Edge music was?

We assume so, because other recent Disney+ Star Wars and MCU shows did (Loki, Book of Boba Fett, Moon Knight, etc)

I want to know if Holt's Obi wan theme made it into the score as a secondary theme of some kind. Also it's such a shame she never got to meet or speak with Williams.
