Popular Post pete 891
I've been a fan of Rick's channel for I think a few years now, but when I saw the title of this video, I thought "I'll watch that later". I would have jumped on it if I had known it was ET. He has a few other film analysis videos. One explores a cue from The Shawshanke Redemption. And he's explored in longish videos Thomas Newman, Howard Shore, and Bernard Herrmann, and there's a Mark Isham interview that I haven't explored yet. Oh man, what I'd give for Williams to sit down with him for a few hours. His interview with Queen guitarist Brian May is great. Before that, Rick kept getting automatic and not exactly legal copyright violations whenever a split second of Queen music was played. Brian was like, "I'll fix that"... and then Rick released a really in depth analysis of Bohemian Rhapsody with audio files for the individual voices and instruments. I was in Queen heaven! He's also interviewed - again in depth - a few of my favorite guitarists - Steve Vai and Joe Satriani to name two. Rick just couldn't control how happy he was to interview Joe!
