Will 2,165
I think someone might’ve posted it above but a great short version aired during halftime! I LOVE the lyrical secondary theme that first shows up in the horns at 1:23 in the video Jay posted!!! 1:23-1:38 and 2:46-3:03 are some of my favorite things I've heard from JW in years! Popular Post igger6 846
OK, Sony, now we need a "John Williams Athletic Dept." CD featuring all four Olympic pieces (plus the one he's doubtless banking for LA 2028), "Dear Basketball," "Wide Receiver," an expansion of the horse race scherzo from the Reivers suite, a "Fathiers" concert suite, the full "Flag Parade" under Williams' baton, "Arts and Sports," and "The Football Game" from John Goldfarb. Bonus track: "Dramatic Tease"! EDIT: And Quidditch tracks! Lots of Quidditch tracks! Dr. Know, Edmilson, BrotherSound and 6 others 1 1

Tom 4,161
I get a bit of an Amazing Stories vibe with the main melody. I also entertain myself by think the joyous nature of the theme on trumpet is another glare by Williams to JJ for cutting a similarly structured Speeder Chase. Disco Stu 15,483
It was the most lopsided win in college National Championship history, and it beat the record by 20 points. TCU really couldn't be more embarrassed. As someone who has long wanted an expanded playoff bracket for FBS football, TCU getting to this game was a good argument for it IMO. I think a sixteen team bracket would be a good number. Will and Bayesian

I'm okay with the 12 team system they're starting with, although I wouldn't be sad if UGA slid in a three-peat next year before the bracket system starts in 2024. And got chills listening to JW's music, which I desperately want to hear sans voices/SFX. Disco Stu

He is currently on the Oscar shortlist for his music for Steven Spielberg’s “The Fabelmans,” and has been working for the past several months on the score for “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny,” slated for release June 30. A bit of a tangent, but who could have imagined even a decade ago we'd read words like this in 2023? JW is not just still working, but working in ways that impacts contemporary culture just as hard as his music did when he was 80... and 70 before that. Good grief. It's a good thing I love this man because if I had any problem with him or his career, I'd be exasperated as fuck that he just keeps coming like this.
