Popular Post enderdrag64 913
Here's a collection of spreadsheets I've been working on over the last few months. Not all of these are complete yet, and I plan on making more but I figured I might as well share them. I was really disappointed that there seemed to be no proper breakdown of all the prequel cues across the various videogames on the internet, only snippets of information in the two Prequel Music Resource threads on here (which are also insane long to dig through), plus some excellent-for-the-time but now outdated editing guides by @deleted account and @Trent B. There's also of course the fantastic sheet accurate score edits by @Manakin Skywalkerbut from everything I've read I don't believe there are accompanying spreadsheets for them. As a result of not finding what I was looking for I decided to make them myself: These first four are breakdowns of the complete scores similar to @Jay's spreadsheets (sidenote: I borrowed your formatting from your ROTJ spreadsheet, hopefully you don't mind I did credit you) but with columns for all of the videogame files (at least the ones I've analyzed so far): The Empire Strikes Back (link) The Phantom Menace (link) Attack of the Clones: (link) Revenge of the Sith: (link) The Force Awakens (link) The rest of these are breakdowns of every file for each of the videogames that I've gotten to: TPM Game (link) Ep I Racer: (link) Ep I Insider's Guide: (link) Ep I Jedi Power Battles: (link) Star Wars Galaxies: (link) Star Wars Battlefront II: (link) I also made a fork of cheetordude's SWTOR Music Index (from this reddit post) where I've made some of the information more accurate (filled in cues that weren't identified, corrected inexact titles, corrected entries that listed one cue that were actually an edit of multiple, things like that). This is still very much a work in progress (link) One last thing I made a complete breakdown of the TPM Ultimate Edition. I decided I wasn't going to deal with the tracks bleeding into each other bullshit so I based all of my timestamps off of the combined tracks instead of the individual ones like they're presented on the disc. As a result my spreadsheet accounts for 24 combined tracks as opposed to 68 separate ones (link) I'm going to try to keep this thread updated as I make new spreadsheets/major updates KittBash, BrotherSound, ragoz350 and 5 others 2
Jay 39,764
Wow, this is very cool! I've been waiting for someone to aggregate all the video game music info at some point, and you've finally done it! Bravo!
CGCJ 486
Finally! I've been waiting for someone to do spreadsheets for the remaining Star Wars scores just like Jay's excellent ones for Star Wars & Return of the Jedi, great job! We're just missing The Empire Strikes Back & The Last Jedi now. The only thing I have to add is I think it would be a good idea to add separate pages that just include the official releases, as all of the games information could be a bit much for those only interested in the official releases. enderdrag64

Like the others this one is not 100% complete yet I still want to add notes about the different mixes (Tomlinson/Neal/Risner) and also the entries for Finale and End Credits are not accurate yet (as in I didn't properly separate 12m3 Finale from its alternate or 12m4 End Credits from its insert) 36 minutes ago, CGCJ said: The only thing I have to add is I think it would be a good idea to add separate pages that just include the official releases, as all of the games information could be a bit much for those only interested in the official releases. Richard P 4,269
Interesting, so for RotS, it looks like Padme's Funeral is the only major, story-critical cue that never leaked in video games and wasn't on the album. I can only theorise that JW wanted to end the album on a happy note, i.e. birth of the twins instead of the rather dark bits of the funeral and Vader's creation. But if so, put that cue somewhere else on the album... the rest of the OST is chronological death as it is.
stravinsky 217
It would amazing if the early unrecorded versions of cues from ANH were somehow tracked down and recorded anew. I guess this will never happen though. Do the full scores exist somewhere? Popular Post enderdrag64 913
Finally got around to making a TFA spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1MvXA-RzLbR3XjQlLgUHPhbNkF14tojHCJ1rrVZxEMNQ/edit I forked this from @Jay's old one, deleted the simple breakdowns and redid the complete score breakdown from scratch. I also added @BrotherSound's FYC breakdown, as well as my own isolated score breakdown which is still a work in progress. Popular Post enderdrag64 913
Additionally here's a TLJ spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Vpq5zjRXngkW0GfCsna4ZM4xVX7UNgRCTYprn5HePbM/edit This one is pretty much complete, I still haven't finished writing in the track names and lengths and stuff for the isolated on the complete score tab but otherwise all the info is in there. There are just a couple unknowns in the isolated score tab if anyone wants to help with those, but the rest is accurate. And here's a TROS one: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1X-HjbqyhRfq5f8w-2DNUYoGWtBf9CbmfTu_RrtWhdfM/edit For the TROS one there is currently only an FYC breakdown and the final cut breakdown, which were taken directly from information kindly provided by @BrotherSound. I do also plan on porting over the Nov 11th cut info from Jay's spreadsheet, I just haven't gotten around to it yet. I opted not to include an OST breakdown yet as it's mostly just guesswork without the sheets and likely inaccurate.
