See, this is why they need your donation! They weren't able to prevent Mick from doing Skeleton Crew. How can they hope to hire good lobbyists to work with Lucasfilm execs without money? Bilbo 1
Rachael Foley 10,160 Posted November 27, 2025 Posted November 27, 2025 Is Thomas Newman a inside man for the foundation?

Disney just asked ChatGPT to create a poster for their movie and voilá, no need to spend money with designers. Does it look very different from any other "Big Heads on Poster" posters from the last 20 years? Are you saying that everything before AI was fine? 4 hours ago, Bilbo said: Movie posters have been awful for awhile now. Long before Gen AI slop. Yeah, what he said. Chen G. 1

Jay 46,239 Posted December 18, 2025 Posted December 18, 2025 Some footage fro the trailer that will be attached to Avatar 3 tomorrow is online
Luke Skywalker 2,379 Posted December 18, 2025 Posted December 18, 2025 That gladiator arena gives me "bounty hunter" videgoame vibes for the similar location. tee_oh 1
Gabriel Bezerra 775 Posted December 18, 2025 Posted December 18, 2025 The only thing my session had was an movie-themed 10 second countdown to the movie (it was IMAX)... to my distaste after the already baffling Avengers teaser. I just wanted to see the blue cat people...
Edmilson 12,370 Posted December 18, 2025 Posted December 18, 2025 It gave me some Thor: Ragnarok vibes.
Xander Harris 9,665 Posted February 9 Posted February 9 I jokingly said aloud, is that a Tonton? I was joking. And…it turned out to be Tontons. How embarrassing.
Luke Skywalker 2,379 Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Weird footage Still, i dont see those Owls you mention Jay!

Xander Harris 9,665 Posted February 9 Posted February 9 I still remember in the SNES Empire Strikes Back game, the dying Tonton animation (you could kill it yourself) perfectly recreated that part of the movie.
Andy 7,713 Posted February 9 Posted February 9 I thought the film smelled bad on the outside. crumbs and Mr. Hooper 1 1
Xander Harris 9,665 Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Come on, it’s new Boba Fett played by the guy who’s in everything and Baby Yoda. Doesn’t everybody love this nowadays?

Dr. Rick 1,387 Posted February 9 Posted February 9 But seriously, what the fuck was that? Horrible-looking CGI. The series took a horrible downward turn after season 2 and this movie doesn't look much better. I'll wait to see this on D+
Popular Post BloodBoal 8,700 Posted February 9 Popular Post Posted February 9 Hadn't realized this was an AI-generated film. Why did they need Favreau to direct this? Andy, Bespin Copilot, Nick1Ø66 and 2 others 5

Tom 6,853 Posted February 10 Posted February 10 I would quite literally be more excited about a movie headlined by Jar Jar and Dexter Jettster.
Edmilson 12,370 Posted February 10 Posted February 10 For a long time, studios used the Super Bowl to release trailers for their blockbusters. But since this has become commonplace now, they're trying a different thing: releasing Super Bowl-themed ads for their movies. Not exactly a trailer in the common sense, just something to make waves on the internet, particularly among those who don't follow movie news and wouldn't respond that enthusiastically to a regular trailer, but would find it cute seeing on Instagram or YouTube a parody of your typical Super Bowl commercial starring Baby Yoda.

Wherein I hereby repeat my previous offer of friendly wager: The Devil Wears Prada 2, which releases the same month, will have a greater worldwide box office take than fake Boba & his little green friend at the end each film's respective theatrical run. In the spirit of the season, the stakes are a modest donation to any JW affiliated charity or foundation. Any takers? VS. May the best dressed win! After the release of the new trailer, I'd like to once again repeat my wager offer, reposted here for the convenience of all. Any takers?

But it isn't budgeted as a STAR WARS movie. Neither of them are Project Hail Mary, so at the moment I don't care.

Jill Sandwich 11,162 Posted February 10 Posted February 10 But isn't one from Disney and the other from 20th Century Fox? As if those two studios would ever collaborate, huh?
Nick1Ø66 8,320 Posted February 10 Posted February 10 DWP2 gonna get those Barbie bucks. And the first one was more entertaining than anything Star Wars has done post-ROTJ. Serious question: Is Stars Wars still a thing?
