Strange John Williams Covers/Arrangements

Which weird John Williams covers/arrangements do you own, or know of?

I have these:

Carpenters: Medley Close Encounters/Star Wars

Set up as an piano concerto with Richard Carpenter behind the keys. If you want my honest opinion, this is not very good, and I'm being extremely mild here. It wasn't meant to be released. It was recorded for a TV special.

The Trotter Trio: Sketches on Star Wars

A selection (10 of them) of famous Star Wars themes warped in jazz versions! A rather fun album.

There are too many to name... "Can You read My Mind" by Shirley Bassey, for example. There are numerous recordings of "Make me Rainbows" (from Fitzwilly), probably the most recorded Williams song. Some of them quiet good, like the one by Ella Fitzgerald and Count Basie.

You can check some of those on my website http://johnwilliams.jw-music.net

And is there a chance you can get me a mp3 of the Carpenters cover?

Yes, but are they strange or weird?

Are you sure you want a MP3? The Carpenters album is easy available. The name of the album is "As Time Goes By"

I have a CD with four dance remixes of Duel of the Fates.

Also, the Imperial March performed by Metallica.

Walter Murphy's E.T. and More is a lot of fun. It's basically Williams classics (along with some ST material) done up like Hooked on Classics. Since Hooked was a favorite series of mine growing up, I had a blast with it.

What Mettalica albumincludes the Imperial March. I've read about that, but never found it. Since my brother likes Mettalica, that's a good excuse for a gift...

Actually, it's no album, it's just what they played in a concert - there are mp3's of this and No Doubt's rendition of the same theme floating around. I've got them both in some data CD somewhere if you want them.
