Hey, fellow JWFANS, time to come clean, do you drink like you're celebrating the destruction of the Death Star, or is it more of a quiet 'E.T.' goodbye toast?

Spill the truth!

I'll just sip on a glass of red at a dinner engagement, or have a beer or two on the terrace in summer, and that's it. But I'll take those Reese's Pieces, thank you. (I'm a chocoholic.)

Bourbon for chronic pain management.

I can relate to that.

I don't really understand the choices there.

I usually don't drink during weekdays (unless there are special circumstances, or holidays), only weekends. 4-5 beers and a couple of bottles of wine per weekend, on average.

Am I to understand your secret ingredient is alcohol?

Bourbon and beans: an explosive combination.

Do you think Spock can handle it?

Just think of all the expanded soundtracks you could buy for that money.*

*At least one, after shipping and VAT.

Me drinking? NONE OF YOUR F*CKING BUSINESS!

We have some evidence in another thread. It's now in the public domain.

I finally reached the age where I hate the morning after more than I love the night before. I think it might actually stick this time.

Weekends a glass of whiskey or wine.  Beer in the summer sometimes.  But honestly, it's more for the ritual and pretending to be an adult than it is for the effect.  I try not to spend to much on it because it's damn expensive, and I like to buy toys, CDs and movies and be able to say "Well at least I don't overspend on alcohol, and I have something to show for it."

Drinkers have something to show for it, but it takes imaging to see it...

Really? Wine is much cheaper over here per alcohol content.

A 500 ml can of 12% special brew is €1,49 nowadays.

A 750 ml bottle of wine at 11-13% is about €3,25 at least.

Not over here!

My mum can't drink right now because her gallbladder is about to rupture. She's scheduled for surgery soon, so I hope she can drink again not long after.

Was the title beating about the bush for what is obviously 'The Alchy thread'

I started drinking after I damaged my hearing and found that it helped ease the pain in my joint injuries that were the result of other misadventures.

Do you take pain medication?

Beyond Paracetamol or Ibuprofen

The stiffy stuff doesn't matter anymore. It'd just be nice to simply walk without feeling pain again.

Don't give up on your stiffy!
