A nice mix, and a conscious avoidance of anything 'Star Wars'—unless the encore happens to be 'Imperial March.'

It's only Spielberg films, so I doubt any Star Wars will be played.

Oops, I somehow missed that. :)

I didn’t know The Kennedy Center still held concerts!

The Sugarland Express piece? The arrangement from The Spielberg/Williams collaboration with a flute instead of harmonica?

I’m so envious. Us in the uk seem to get very little concerts like these unless you live in London.

I was at this concert last night and it was a great time. Encore was Raiders March of course and it was great seeing the individual soloists give it their all for each piece ( Schindlers, Viktors Tale etc). I could tell the brass was running ragged near the end though. There were a few cracked notes "With Malice Towards None" by the first trumpet solo but overall a great show.

These selections are wonderful but I would make some changes

Tourists on the menu from Jaws

Theme from Lost world

Visitor in San Diego from the lost world

---intermission

The ultimate war from Hook

Love theme from The Terminal

The Duel from Tintin

Dartmoor, 1913 from Warhorse

The Post suite

Adventures on Earth from Et

Still not corrected. Just took this screenshot a second ago. Some great comments! "How do you spell it wrong when it's correct in the picture?"

Glad you enjoyed it!

I'm curious about the quite rarely performed Sugarland Express. Was it the flute version posted in the video above from one of Williams' concerts in Japan?

To be fair, I attended a Williams/Spielberg concert of the LSO, and the encore was Star Wars. Guess that's what you had to get when it's the LSO.

They can play that one scene he supposedly directed from Revenge of the Sith.

What’s the T. rex ending version of the JP suite again?

The normal suite ending.

The concert version of "Theme From Jurassic Park" is not the same thing as the OST track called that; It's mostly end credits material, with the very end taken from the end of "T-Rex Rescue and Finale"

In the film that bit scores the T-Rex fending off the last of the raptors and roaring as the "When Dinosaurs Ruled The Earth" banner falls down past him

They simply recording the 1993 concert arrangement at the 1997 TLW sessions and put it on the OST album and in the film's end credits, yeah.
