John Williams — a night of stories and music at Juilliard

Tonight I am co-presenting a (frankly incredible) event at Juilliard alongside composer Nicholas Britell. We'll both be chatting about John and his history with Juilliard, among various other topics, but there will also be some unique arrangements and live performances by star students—as well as the star of John's piano concerto, Emanuel Ax, who is playing excerpts from its first two movements as well as the theme from "Sabrina"! (Ax told me how much he liked that theme, so I made this request.)

Also, the official confirmation of the Maestro doing the score for Steven Spielberg’s upcoming film, their 30th feature film collaboration, was icing on the cake!
