The official press release tells us all the producers but not a word about the composer

If you found out we weren’t alone, if someone showed you, proved it to you, would that frighten you? This summer, the truth belongs to 7 billion people.
We are coming close to … Disclosure Day.

Universal Pictures is proud to release a new original event film created and directed by Steven Spielberg. The film stars SAG winner and Oscar® nominee Emily Blunt (OppenheimerA Quiet Place), Emmy and Golden Globe winner Josh O’Connor (ChallengersThe Crown), Oscar® winner Colin Firth (The King’s SpeechKingsman franchise), Eve Hewson (Bad SistersThe Perfect Couple) and two-time Oscar® nominee Colman Domingo (Sing SingRustin).

Based on a story by Spielberg, the screenplay is by David Koepp, whose previous work with Spielberg includes the scripts for Jurassic ParkThe Lost World: Jurassic Park, War of the Worlds and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Combined, those films earned more than $3 billion worldwide. Koepp also wrote the script for this 2025’s Jurassic World Rebirth.

Disclosure Day is produced by five-time Academy Award® nominee Kristie Macosko Krieger (The FabelmansWest Side Story) and by Spielberg for Amblin Entertainment. The executive producers are Adam Somner and Chris Brigham.

Steven Spielberg is one of the industry’s most successful and influential filmmakers. The top-grossing director of all time, Spielberg has helmed such blockbusters as Jaws, E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, the Indiana Jones franchise and Jurassic Park.

ooh this has the potential for a grand JW score. Now I'm excited about it and the trailer looks good.

I'm a little worried there's no mention of JW in the press release and this is generic trailer music not by him either.

Wow... This looks amazing. While I am a bit disappointed that we did not get a taste of the Maestro's score in this teaser trailer, I am also kind of glad we did not. It builds up anticipation further. I cannot wait to see this film on the big screen, Dolby Cinema and/or IMAX!. This is THE film I am most looking forward to seeing in 2026.

At any rate, I'm now no longer forced to buy a ticket for Avatar just to see this teaser...

It seems like part of my dream (nightmare) has come true:

"The guy QC-ing the trailer turned out to be a music student on a short-term scholarship. For some reason, he took me along to a cinema to watch the new preview. It opened with extended synthesizer chords, and I felt a wave of disappointment when I realized there was no Williams music. Then, suddenly, the “Ark Theme” from Raiders burst out as the camera panned across towards a cinema auditorium filled with colorful pop-art witches and Pirates of the Caribbean–style figures, all staring at their smartphones. I asked the QC-ing guy why they had chosen this theme instead of the Emperor’s Theme from Star Wars. He explained that there had been copyright issues, and that the Indiana Jones franchise offered more contractual flexibility. Moments later, the doors swung open and troops of “Men in Black” stormed in, snatching the devices from the crowd - except from those who had earplugs wired into the film itself. I woke up wondering whether Spielberg had ever made a “film within a film.” Of course, he had: The Fabelmans..."

They still haven’t managed to animate a red cardinal convincingly.

Hmmmmm...

I didn't understand anything from the teaser (Ok, I guess that's the idea!).

But I'm not sure yet it's something I will rush to the cinema (after many many years) to watch..

Maybe if it gets good reviews, but still...

Aliens exist.  Catholics/Christians who traditionally have thought that human beings are the only persons in the material universe must either reject the faith or revise the faith to allow for other material persons.

Sony's press release (to go with @Mr. Hooper's prize-winning cover design)

I'm not good at detecting sarcasm, so I will take this as legitimate praise... I await my prize.

Simply convert to the Hindu faith.

Your prize: a non-diluted Williams shnaps after Patrick Doyle's show in Vienna (tickets not included).

Another advantage is you can't be killed.

Will that Motel One bar be condemned too after I set foot in it?

Williams wrote 300 different combinations of swallowing and gulping sounds in an attempt to find the right one for the movie. Ultimately Williams settled on "K K K k Aaah", though "Aaa K K Aa K" and "K K Ah K K Ah" were close contenders.

Another collaboration with Stomu Yamash'ta on vocals? :D

Will I be seeing this as soon as it comes out?

YES.  YES I WILL.

This looks GOOD.

I didn't understand the bit with Emily Blunt when she was trying to say the weather.

Is she an alien? :P

My guess is that an alien is possessing her at that moment.  The aliens will, of course, turn out to be friendly.

Or, maybe she just sucks at being a meteorologist.

I don't like the scene where a little girl, accompanied by a deer and other animals, are seen from behind as they walks toward a house.

Looks like one of the animals is about to fart in the next scene.

Is it a sequel for the world of Narnia... or the BFG?

Perhaps it's a remake of Pluribus
