Popular Post Bespin Copilot 10,735 Posted February 8 Popular Post Posted February 8 Here are my first four John Williams albums. As a teenager, when I listened almost exclusively to classical music, I began, thanks to Columbia, to build a collection of films (on VHS!) and CDs. The three Star Wars films, in their original versions of course, were naturally part of my very first order. That made me realize just how much their music had been with me since childhood. So I bought the albums as well.  Then the connections started to form⊠E.T. Indiana Jones. Superman. Thatâs John Williams too? When I saw Jurassic Park in 1993, I wanted to discover everything he had ever written. I had fallen under the spell.  What a joy, so many years later, to see that despite illness and age, he is still with us, and that in four months we will have the privilege of hearing a new film score by John Williams for Spielbergâs upcoming Disclosure Day. Happy 94th birthday, Maestro John Williams!  Manakin Skywalker, Once, Brando and 20 others 14 9

Bespin Copilot 10,735 Posted February 8 Author Posted February 8 Happy 94th birthday, Maestro John Williams! Â On this new anniversary, we celebrate not only the architect behind some of cinemaâs most beloved music, but also the composer deeply devoted to symphonic writing. Behind the worldwide fame stands an artist who has always taken pride in cultivating a concert repertoire where his sensitivity, his discipline, and a creative freedom unbound by narrative constraints can fully flourish. Â These works, whether familiar or more rarely heard, reveal a creator who has never stopped exploring, refining, and engaging in dialogue with the great orchestral tradition. They remind us that John Williams is not only a master of the image, but a complete musician whose body of work continues to inspire, move, and uplift. Â Happy 94th birthday, Maestro. Brando 2,768 Posted February 8 Posted February 8 Alright I made the JW lunch today while I rewatch the documentary. Now, I made some slight modifications. I used Italian style bread instead of wheat (not a fan of wheat bread). Then I added cheese because it complements the turkey. I did use bread and butter pickles and I see why @Maestro opted for better pickles: theyâre fine but there are better pickles out there John. And lastly I got a regular orange Sunkist and not a diet. And whatâs not pictured is chocolate chip cookies for dessert because of ASM Mr. Hooper and BB-8 1 1
