Can we expect that for 50th anniversary celebration of "Star Wars" in 2027 we finally see the complete , restored and remastered one set or few sets of Star Wars soundtracks release on CD's?

@Tallguy is correct, they released around when the SE film versions were released in the theater. This is an ad I found which has the original release dates (not adjusted when the film release dates were adjusted if I remember correctly). 

(Not sure what the weird tag is in the middle of the ad is all about...)

Those "limited edition" book versions are still widely available whereas the jewel case versions, which I prefer because the liner notes are a separate booklet and the packaging isn't designed to damage the CDs, tend to be harder to come by.

I still fondly remember going to my local record store in Lincoln, NE when I was attending the university there every other week to purchase these!  Such a momentous occasion!  And then going to see the SE in the theatre as well

I remember being young at the time and yeah, the 1993 box set did feel like it was "years ago" compared to these fancy new 1997 sets.

 

But nowadays, something from 2022 hardly seems as far back in the past from today as those did then...

It was a sort of Double Dip as they call it these days not long after that box set was released. It was something of a minor miracle I was able to buy that box with summer vacation money I was gifted from the Star Tours gift shop at MGM Studios. It took years to not only muster up the dough for the SE sets, but to find them. By the year 2000, there were still at least CD sections in stores including Borders, where I ended up finding ESB and the expanded Raiders. Jedi was impossible to find for some reason. Without the internet it was not only a nightmare to shop for soundtracks but you wouldn't even know they existed.

Yes, a source tells me that they're aiming for October 13th. It's possible they push it back a few days for a Friday release, but no later than that.

Interesting.  I remembered being a bit annoyed that the beautiful Arista set wasn’t complete to begin with and that I had to double dip so soon.  A foolish attitude in retrospect.

1) There was more than enough new music between the two releases. (And even though Star Wars didn't have as much I DEARLY wanted the missing music.)

2) My life was different enough from 1993 (end of college) to 1997 (had a job and paying rent) that they might as well have been released in different centuries!

 

Also I'd been working in a music store for a bit, so I was really appreciating that if there was some kid who wanted Star Wars music he had to either buy re-recordings or buy this huge box set. I'd talked to enough mom's at that point to realize that this was a barrier to entry.
