It doesn't bother me one way or the other, even if it's an April Fool's joke

Per Cinema Herald:

Columbia Pictures announced this week that “The Patriot: 1812” will hit theaters on July 5, 2030. Roland Emmerich returns to direct, with Mel Gibson reprising his role as Benjamin Martin, now a widower after the death of his second wife. Chris Pratt stars as Samuel Martin, a grizzled naval officer and the son of Benjamin Martin.

Years after serving in the First Barbary War, Samuel is drawn back into the fight when British forces kidnap and impress his young son into the Royal Navy. Driven by revenge, the Martins take to the seas in America’s second war for independence.

Legendary film composer John Williams has already signed on to score the sequel. In an interview, Williams told the Herald: “Over the course of my career, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to write music for several periods in American history. But the one period I’ve never explored is the War of 1812. I just want to write the War of 1812 a theme!”

When asked about rumors that he’s finished scoring Steven Spielberg’s Disclosure Day, Williams said he’s “not ready to make an announcement about that yet.”

AI is not at a stage where it can destroy mankind yet. It wrote: "The The Patriot: 1812"

I'd even watch an AI movie of this.

With an AI generated John Williams score?

You know what? By July 5, 2030, AI might be so good that I *can* make an AI movie of this. Stay tuned…

And please drop the complete AI (generated) John Williams score on release day. We don't like to wait!

I’m not such a bad composer myself…

Eg, I arranged this piece for the map scene in Dial of Destiny BEFORE the soundtrack was released. My arrangement ended up sounding similar to the “To Athens” cue (if you imagine an orchestra instead of a piano).

Will this be followed by The Patriot: 1861?

I believe, that film was called Lincoln.

Gibson was unrecognizable in that role.
