Popular Post Jay 46,346 Posted May 15 Popular Post Posted May 15 The ninth M Night Shyamalan film scored by James Newton Howard, and their first collaboration after a 14 year / 6 film separation. JNH announced the news himself at the 19th Krakow Film Music Festival yesterday. Was surprised to come here and see that no one had reported it yet. Even filmmusicreporter doesn't have this scoop! crocodile, Yavar Moradi, Tydirium and 15 others 4 5 9

Popular Post Edmilson 12,393 Posted May 15 Popular Post Posted May 15 Hopefully, like every other JNH/MNS collab, this will provide him the opportunity to write emotional/dramatic music, and not just full on horror thriller. Do we know anything about what the movie is going to be about? Trope, Cristian and Yavar Moradi 3
Richard P 5,314 Posted May 15 Posted May 15 Now that's a good announcement for once Asking for a score in the vein of The Village may be too optimistic, but LitW or The Happening would be a good return to form. Cristian and Yavar Moradi 2
Popular Post Yavar Moradi 4,416 Posted May 15 Popular Post Posted May 15 OMG I was barely allowing myself to hope, after they did promotion together for the amazing Night After Night album! The only composer/director reunion that could make me THIS happy right now is if we heard Patrick Doyle was scoring Kenneth Branagh’s next film. Yavar tomsmoviemadness, Cristian, Trope and 4 others 7

You can read the book Quote #1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER • A one-of-a-kind novel that grapples with the supernatural mysteries of life, death, and human connection—an unprecedented collaboration between the globally bestselling author of love stories like The Notebook and the renowned writer and director of blockbuster thrillers like The Sixth Sense When New York architect Tate Donovan arrives in Cape Cod to design his best friend’s summer home, he is hoping to make a fresh start. Recently discharged from an upscale psychiatric facility where he was treated for acute depression, he is still wrestling with the pain of losing his beloved sister. Sylvia’s deathbed revelation—that she can see spirits who are still tethered to the living world, a gift that runs in their family—sits uneasily with Tate, who struggles to believe in more than what reason can explain. But when he takes up residence at a historic bed-and-breakfast on the Cape, he encounters a beautiful young woman named Wren who will challenge every assumption he has about his logical and controlled world. Tate and Wren find themselves forging an immediate connection, one that neither has ever experienced before. But Tate gradually discovers that below the surface of Wren’s idyllic small-town life, hatred, jealousy, and greed are festering, threatening their fragile relationship just as it begins to blossom. Tate realizes that in order to free Wren from an increasingly desperate fate, he will need to unearth the truth about her past before time runs out . . . a quest that will make him doubt whether we can ever believe the stories we tell about ourselves, and the laws that govern our existence. Love—while transformative—can sometimes be frightening. A story about the power of transcendent emotion, Remain asks us all: Can love set us free not only from our greatest sorrows, but even from the boundaries of life and death? Edmilson 1
Popular Post Knight of Ren 1,558 Posted May 15 Popular Post Posted May 15 YES! James Newton Howard is one of my favorite composers, and some of his scores for Shyamalan movies are among my favorite scores ever so this is great news. I hope this allows Howard to return to that type of scores I've loved from him in the past. Mr. Who, Cristian and Yavar Moradi 3

Matt C 605 Posted May 17 Posted May 17 Actually shocked they're reuniting on this. And JNH has already scored it? Must have been a quick post-production turnaround.
