I was also interested to hear that besides writing music for many of the Star Trek TNG episodes, Jay Chattaway also wrote a few pieces with Maynard Ferguson on the LP Primal Scream.

Just a useless tidbit of info

He also intentionally ripped of Jerry Goldsmith's style for his score of Missing In Action, which is a guilty pleasure of mine (the score, not bthe film)

a CD that contains a wonderfull 6 minute suite Chattaway composed, based on that flute motif Picard plays in the episode.

Star Trek: The Next Generation Vol. IV

This CD has a short, but very nice rendition of that same theme played by flute and piano.
