pixie_twinkle 44
Williams' Prelude and Fugue seems to be floating around on a few boots out there. I've never heard it. Is it any good? I have tried following the link on this site for ordering the CD of it but the link is no longer valid. How and where can I get an official copy of the CD containing this piece? Or is it crap? :? King Mark 2,924
It's sort of 60's jazzy style,I can't say I listen to it much. It's also on this legit album, which you can buy in the classical or Jazz section:Stan Kenton Conducts The Los Angeles Neophilic Orchestra-Capitol recordsK.M. pixie_twinkle 44
Just a suggestion. Pop down to your local record shop and pick up Miles Davis Someday My Prince Will Come, and Kind of Blue. Oh, and Coltraine's My Favourite Things. If you're new to jazz then I can't think of a better place to start than these albums. Niiiiiice .
Miguel Andrade 964
This is a very nice work, and probably the only worth thing in the Kenton album. In fact, by the time this pieces were premiered, in the late 60's, Williams' work was the only one to receive any praise.
Chris ChrusherComix 27
I like that piece too. -Chris, Who often likes some of Williams older work better of late, except AOTC, which I've taken more of a liking to of late...
