That is a bootleg album. Note how the package desing is very close to Varese's artwork. It's probably an LP transfer of a jazz album released by Williams.

This was released back in 1960, after Williams signed a contract with Columbia for the release of two solo albuns (the other being Checkmate). He wasl under contract with them at the time, working for Mahalia Jakson and Frankie Lane among others.

For the Bonus tracks, they come from two 45rpm releases -- I only have the Bachelor's Plat/Montreal one... I don't know Carol Burnett's rendition of the song from Pete'n'Tillie, but have it sung by Walter Mathau.

As Neil points out, this is a LP transfer.

Yes, you're right, this one is from 1961, not 1960, as I said on my previous post.

This was originally released on Columbia Records CL 1667 and CS 8467 (two diferent versions, one being mono and the other stereo).

And I'll be writting to you later today, my Sith Lord Mahawa :P
